TMT - The 'promotional company' that hasn't done s**t

    So I see 2-3 threads at least, day in day about on how TMT are doing this and that and how Golden Boy are already in a war with them.

    Well, this so called promotional group hasn't even held a ****ing press conference, let alone a fight card, and people are talking about how they're in wars? Seriously, the **** have they done?

    All we have seen is a few fighters have some pictures with fiddy saying that they've signed. Actually, I think only one or two have even publicized that they've signed with him. We've heard absolutely nothing about this company, yet people are talking as if they're already some key player in the boxing game. It's all talk and no substance.

    Do they have a website? A logo? Some sort of information or backing which tells us about what they're doing? Besides some sad twat making fake TMT accounts stating what they were going to do. I for one think any fighter who has signed, is either a mindless **** to sign with a company that has done literally nothing, or they're getting so much $$$ written in their contracts that they found it hard to resist.

    What do you think? Personally, I'm finding most of this TMT **** to be over the top when we have seen nothing. I'm not trying to criticize or hate. I'd like to see it, but like I said, when we haven't even had a press conference from them yet, why are they talked about in such high stature? Anyone feel me? (no homo)

    You are right they haven't done anything..........yet!

    Doesnt mean they won't either......I think we need to give them some time. Rome wasn't built in a day.

    It's certainly interesting to me to see what could be another major player enter promotions......I cant see it at this stage being a negative thing.

    how long has this promotional company been existance? right, this explains why they haven't had the opportunity to "do ****." on another note, it's understandable that hardcore boxing fans feel like making threads about the sport's premier talent and most polarizing figure and his good friend, 50 cent's promotional company.

    I'm sure they will, it's just the way they're being talked about which is annoying me a little. I'd like to see some **** before we start that train, ya know?

    Canelo is being hailed as the savior and he hasn't done ****, people are already crowning Broner as future #1 p4p and he hasn't done ****. That's boxing for you partner, just roll with the punches mate.

    I see the potential there for TMT. Of course, I thought that with GBp as well when they first came up. Instead of doing something different, they did 'business as usual' and are just another promotional outfit w/ ties. TMT want to cater to an utapped (or unintersted) population. But they need to understand not all care for the arrogant 'G' act, and should tone down some. But they have a long ways to go. Does TMT have employees yet? Someone to run the business? A matchmaker?

    They have promoted themselves pretty well so far. Everyone is talking about them, even my casual mates, mainly because of 50 cent.

    You cant compare this to individual fighters :patsch

    Look at the other compasnies that Mayweather was involved in:

    Mayweather promotions- complete flop

    Philthy rich records- complete flop


    That soda drink, cant even remember its name = complete flop


    These guys cant match the big boys at promoting.

    No they're not! Its pure hype that the media has latched on to and are trying to make something out of nothing. And then you have the fans of Fif and Floyd, and haters of GB and TR, who would like it to see it succeed. Beyond that everybody else is taking the "wait and see" approach.

    No disrespect, but the moral of the story is "Quit being a tool!" I mean damn, they been around for what, like 2 weeks?
