This is something I've found strange. I've seen quite a few posts about how people 'Cant wait to see how Dirrell/Gamboa etc look under the TMT banner'. It doesn't even ****ing make sense.

I hope TMT is a success, as boxing needs more mainstream recognition, but I think it's crazy how we have guys on here acting like they are the saviou of boxing when really we know absolutely **** all about them other than the fact 50 is the face of the company. Let's see how their first few shows go and what fights they can put together. I know the race card is the most overused thing on ESB, but it does seem to be the Black American posters who are totally overhyping TMT. Whilst I can kind of understand why I also think they should understand why others are waiting to see actual results before they pass judgement.

Some of you have a reading disability. No **** does a business take time to start. My reaction was to what I have been reading on ESB about the company and how it's been striding. Such a sensitive bunch you people are.

    you seem sensitive bro.
does recruiting Judah, Gamboa, Berto, Direll, and Dib qualify as "hasn't done ****"?
does having Gamboa and Direll their own card on Showtime soon qualify as "hasnt done ****"?
has Khans promotional company done any better?

Gamboa and Dirrell have their stuff sorted out. Peterson is also still dealing with other issues. They're trying to get him to speak to NSAC and he's refusing to do so. Fights don't get made that quickly. Look how long it took for them to finalize Lara/Martiysian

Gamboa and Dirrell have NOTHING sorted out. No TV slot, no venue, NO OPPONENTS. What exactly is sorted out?

This company has been in the making for some time (if in fact it exists). People like Berto, Gamboa etc would not have signed anything without a negotiation period. I am sure discussions have been going on for some time with these fighters; as with any signing.

So did TMT have a game plan in mind when they were negotiating to get these fighters? Pissing off GBP probably wasnt a good way to start was it?

Peterson v Judah doesn't need to be in Nevada.

It can headline in Brooklyn or DC and be a sell out

    I disagree.

One of the problems we have right now, and have had over the years at a smaller scale than today is promotional companies not willing to work with each other.

That means we don't see the best fight the best. We get in house fights, and that tends to blow.

It doesn't have to be like that, but Fiddy got all butt-hurt over DLH's comments like a little *****, and now it might further hurt the state of boxing if he's going to be a ***** like that.

Gamboa vs Salgado and Dirrell vs Magee, both for belts in November. Have you been paying attention :huh

and they do have a plan. According to Karceno they are looking to make Dirrell vs Ward down the line and Gamboa vs Broner

Good points, Laz. The hysteria surrounding this TNT group has been quite amusing.

But with that said, it's early days. Very early. Need to give them time before making a proper judgement.

The #2 Fighter in the sport (Sergio) is the savior of the sport! Since the #1 fighter (Pacquiao) will be retiring soon!
