Very true. In Japan you can just play to the mma guys strengths until they are up to speed.

    A week
Didnt know OVW had links to TNA? Either way i'm not getting this. As Mo fails in two category's. Mike skills and Pro Wrestling experience. He's going to look like a tit if he's not a natural on the big stage.

They should use him in a bodyguard role, the way Diesel used to be

Or a butler like Virgil :D

Yeah TNA went into a partnership with OVW this year. The idea comes from TNA and Bellator wanting to do cross-promotion as a way of helping Bellator. Spike are in the deal in a big way with the idea that Mo would be given other shows as part of the deal.

The things I wonder are a) whether they can turn Mo into a passable enough wrestler in time (my money's on no) and b) is he actually enough of a money player to be worth this deal. I can't help wonder whether this is something they should have pitched to Quinton Jackson when he finally leaves Zuffa.

Quinton would have been a natural at Pro Wrestling. Especially in Japan. Matter of fact if i recall he wanted to enter Pro Wrestling long before he discovered MMA. Either way Rampage is a brand name. He can make money by a variety of means. Mo on the other hand cannot. Hence why i don't understand why TNA have signed him.
There's no way he can turn it around quick enough to learn the Pro Wrastling ropes and be ready. I can see what Bellator are trying to accomplish but i just don't see how it works at all with a guy like Mo irrespective of his passing interest.

Quinton loves the idea of pro-wrestling but like a lot of these guys he's not going to like the reality, esp. when it comes to WWE. Where I think the deal would have appealed to him are these rumours that Spike is going to try to turn Mo into a face of the channel - i.e. giving him entertainment projects to. That sort of stuff would be right up Quinton's street.

With Mo, I mean we'll see but yeah I think this isn't going to work. I mean it took Kurt a year and Brock eighteen months to learn pro-wrestling and both were naturals at it. Mo's going to be lucky to get two months. And then there's the issue that doing both is just going to divide your focus and probably make him a less effective fighter. Pro-Wrestling may be fake but it certainly takes its toll on the body.

The return of Heyman for those who missed it. Still remember freaking out when he turned up on RAW to replace Lawler. Man that was eleven years ago. I feel ****ing old!
