Sadly Dawson has just as impressive a resume as Calzaghe does

Dawson beat a prime Adamek along with Johnson(he won) and Tarver

Joe beat a prime Mikkel Kessler along with Hopkins and Jones(shot by the way)

 

It's bull**** if you ask me. It does not matter where you live. It's how you fight that matters.

 

It may be because Dawson isn't trying to cement his Legacy with wins over Tarver, and johnson.

 

......and Reid and Eubank.

 

Joe isnt either, hes in it for final paydays, he already has his legacy in britain, why does he give a **** what Randy in Ohio thinks?

 

Good point. Thats why i'm not sold on Dawson, plus I thought he lost to Johnson. I personally give Joe credit for beating Bhop and Roy, but the fact remains that Roy is a shell of what he once was and Bhop in his prime wqould be a much tougher matchup for Joe.

If Joe is smart he'll retire, no point in fighting Dawson, its a lose-lose situation for him. If he beats him who cars, but if he loses everyone will say "I told you so".

I still think Roy handles Calzaghe in his prime fairly easy. UD RJJ.

 

I do find it funny to read about the fight from American reporters and they go on as if Joe Calzaghe IS 26 and in his prime.

Calzaghe just throws and throws punches round after round. That's it's actually hard to imagine that's he's 37 in a few months.

 

Thats funny because Hopkins is his best or second best ever win.

 

Dawson has no chance of beating calzaghe.

Dawson dosent deserve a title shot as he hasnt been exposed to the British public, he hasnt fought a name in the UK or Europe.....
