If Floyd was white instead of black, some haters would say he's the greatest thing ever. It can't be denied that race is part of the equation.

See, that's an interesting point. Any time someone talks about Floyd the Pacquiao fans feel the need to show up and bash him while saying how great Pac is!

Did you even read the article? The author clearly states he wants to see Floyd fight the best. He can only fight one fighter at a time though.

 

Who's considered the greatest of all time? I'm sure Ray Robinson was black... maybe it was just the light.

I did read it. It provides a list of excuses about why he isn't fighting the best guys - not once does it state that he is avoiding the best challenges.

Floyd has never said: "I want to beat JMM to build up a fight with Manny - then we'll get it on" - because, if he can avoid it, he'll never fight Manny. He'll probably fight someone like Berto and claim he's beaten a tough young gun who's REALLY the best fighter at WW.

Floyd is not a fighter - he's a business man. And it's still an article of alibis.
