To all Margarito fans/apologists

Why should he move up in weight to do so? He's comfortable at 147, never has trouble making the weight. So he should stay there. End of.

 

Tony does not need to move up in weight and fight him, if Paul comes back down in weight I would say Tony should fight him with in a year of Paul being at 147.

But there is no way Tony should have to move up in weight just becuase Paul did.

 

Margo doesn't have to move up. Williams said, right after the Phillips fight, that if Margo signs on the dotted line he'll fight at 147.

 

In which case there's absolutely NO excuse for Margo not taking the fight. Otherwise he's avoiding Williams.

 

pretty much it's well known see how your question never stated 154 his fans just automaticly come up with an excuse for him not taking the fight. and one says williams should have to wait a year.

i feel that fight will be an unexpectd war and mosely might just pull it off. he has more sense then cotto and is still fast enough to outhustle MArgo.


the mayorga fight mosely was fighting scared becuse in the opening round MAYo came out and shot a right hand that put mosely onthe defence . he was not trying to getr it as he knew mayo had way more power then him. mayo was also just giiger and stronger. but he lasted the storm out and got the w. by ko.

margo will not be stornger then mosley and although he's a big WElter him and mosely are close in height. i think mosley opens a cut and wins by stoppage or a narrow points win

beside what weight woudl the fight happen other then147. every one know at 154 margo is not as effective as he is at 147. he's pretty much mediocre at 154 when he's fighting some one his own size :yep

 

Simple. For one he already fought him. He fought two top 5 WW's this year already and is fighting Shane, another top 5 WW. The will take on Cotto agaon. And from all the punishment Margarito absorbed in those fights, why not take an easier fight in Shane. Funny calling Shane an easy fight.

And before you cry "Why fight someone he already beat (in Cotto)"... think about that and what you want for a sec.

 

Isn't helping him with what?, fighting a guy he already beat and is running away from?

Please answer this question as I'm curious and would like to know what you think. Why is it okay for Margarito to turn down a career high payday($4million) in fighting Williams and avenging an actual LOSS but Mayweather is called a coward for turning down $8million to fight Margarito for the WBOgus to fight top Welterweight/lineal champion Baldomir for the same $8million amount?

What's funny is Mayweather being insulted and called a guy who "cherry picks" when he was rumored to fight Shane(35 years old at the time) but when Margarito turns down a fight with a guy that beat him to fight Mosley(37 years old) who struggled against ****ing Mayorga it's a VERY dangerous fight.
