A fight with M.Hatton is not going to happen, a cash-strapped HBO won't allow it nor would they put up the money for it. They wouldn't have the audacity to ask the public in the states to pay $50 PPV to watch an ass whipping.

 

... and the *****s would also eat this up also. Yup, easy money for Floyd. Way to keep that undefeated record going.

This wouldn't sell well over here at all. I can gaurantee that. The arena would sell out because people want see Mayweather but the ppv(assuming it is) would do shag all. M Hatton is a **** as well.

No not at all. You could probably sell out a venue for people just wanting to see Floyd in the flesh, no matter against how low quality opposition. It does nothing on tv though, wouldn't be a PPV fight in anyway.

I wouldn't pay for a fight against either Hatton. He's already stopped Ricky in impressive fashion in their first fight and Matthew Hatton is Matthew Hatton. I don't expect the fight to happen even if he doesn't fight Pacquiao. Winner of Mosley vs. Berto would make me happy, especially if it's Mosley.

I think the hatton fight is just a rumour but i wud be dissappointed if he fights him. But its not his fault if the pac fight doesnt fall through so dont blame hinif it doesnt happen. If it doesnt happen he shud fight mosley.

 

I don't know that I'd lose respect for Floyd, because I respect him for his technical abilities, not his (lack of) history of seeking out the toughest opponents. But I would certainly be disappointed.

 

I would be disapointed. However this would not be a normal fight for Mayweather. It would only happen if Pacquiao decides not to fight him.
I would be disapointed if HBO or Showtime picked the fight up more than I would be with Mayweather.

i dont know why floyd wants to fight in the UK cus it aint gonna make him any money. No one here has even heard of M, Hatton. the biggest names here are Khan and Haye.

I can;t see many ppl paying on PPV for M hatton vs floyd.

Floyd's best bet is getting Ricky out of retirement cus he has a loyal following even though most of them want him to quit the sport cus they dun wanna see him get hurt again.
