ridiculous. neither one is close to goat hw, much less goat boxer. and i wasnt comparing them, but the knee-jerk reactions to a win by both of them. the same clains youre making about usyk were geing said about fury a few years back. largely by the same fans.
people are quick to throw out superlatives without really knowing what it is that they are saying. highest iq? how so? what about his iq stands up above the iq of other greats. lets explore this evidence of the iq that stands alone.

Haha you even call posters who've had accounts for 3 years 'banned alt'. You're such a low IQ, juvenile, simpleton.

Bless your heart boy, I don't think you're all there.

He can keep his hand up to block punches unlike certain greats who most here consider the GOAT.......

It depends if you count his CW resume, if we include CW as "HW"... maybe... Off of HW alone, not in my opinion. I think even top 10 would be a serious debate. And that's not disrespect to Usyk; he just has tough competition.

He took several hard shots from Dubois, square on the face, and if you didn’t see them, perhaps you should watch it again. Happens to the best of them, sometimes by the least of them.

Not consistently and lot of the times if he does take a hard shot he's either rolling with it or blocking it which you seem to have missed. He rarely takes clean punches.

Ok....first, real data. Usyk had 350 amateur bouts. Won 335. He had years of training learning the fundamentals with Soviet era coaches. Like the Eastern Euro NBA players who understands the game better than US players who rely on slickness and show. Like Myamoto Musashi stated, "The Way is in Training". Each amateur bout was a lesson learned and a means of increasing ring generalship i.e. IQ.

Second, does Usyk have a noticeable flaw besides " he doesn't like it to the body"? Has anyone ever criticized his footwork or his punching combinations? He has every punch in the book. No, he's not a ko guy but he has often punished boxers like Huck and Chisora into wishing he'd knock them out.

The only valid point to bring him down the rankings of HW greats is the number of championship bouts as HW. And by the way he has more defenses of his belts than Rocky Marciano.

Another possible negative point is that he's had "only" 24 fights. I would counter than he just didn't have the 15 to 20 bouts against low level boxers as he learned his craft.....he didn't have to learn. He amateur career thought him all he needed to know.

Lastly, I would point out that no HW champ ever fought at a time when his country was in an invasion and being bombed daily.

He is number 1 or 2 best CW boxers ever, and certainly in my estimation top 15 HW champ. He's an ATG easily.

I know exactly how consistently it happens, I can see it in real time as I’m watching the fight. My mind is automatically rating what the fighters are doing and how they are doing it. Would you say this was his best defensive performance?

I think he doesn't have enough fights to be heavyweight king.

Maybe if he can keep defending the titles for another 3-4 years.
