To all those saying wladimir is ducking! Update: Injury Pics Inside

The entire card has now been cancelled, Wlad misses out on earnings, all those who bought tickets now have to cancel their plans, etc... And you have Wlad's sparring partner Ola Afolabi, and Andy Lee who are both missing out on their fights (and purse).

All of this because he is supposedly scared of Chisora (ya right, ). Get real guys. Wladimir has NEVER pulled out of a fight due to injury before in 50+ fights, - the injury is legit.

"He was hitting the mitts and it just happened," Boente said. "The fight is canceled. The pain is extreme. He couldn't even sit in the car on the way to the hospital." Klitschko (55-3, 49 KOs) had gone through a public workout earlier in the day, although they are light and just for show. However, Boente said a couple of hours later, he was working with Steward for real when he felt a sudden pain.

Boente said Klitschko, 34, underwent a CT scan and was diagnosed with a 2-inch tear on the left side of his abdominal muscle near the bottom of his rib cage.

"The doctor said he needs four to six weeks to heal," Boente said. "Wladimir has never had to cancel a fight before. He is totally upset. He had a great training camp in the Austrian mountains. He was in fantastic shape and he's very, very upset and very sad. And not only for him but for all the people who bought tickets to the sold-out arena. We were all looking forward to the fight. We are sorry for the fans and for our TV partners. What can you do?"

Running scared from a VOLUNTARY defense, a fighter that Team Klitschko offered the fight to? (It's not like this was a mandatory and Wladimir had no choice in opponent).

That makes no sense.

I know it's easy for the haters to say "Wlad's ducking", but look at the facts, ducking Chisora does NOT add up.

- Voluntary defense, opponent selected by Team Klitschko

- Wlad goes through an entire training camp (you don't do that just to pull out 3-days before the fight)

- Wlad and his long time sparring partners all miss out on a good payday

- Wlad misses an opportunity to take out a British loud mouth, and call out Haye after the fight

- K2 Promotions has put a lot of time and money into the press conferences, staging of the fight, etc... all down the drain (I know there is fight insurance for situations like this, but it doesn't cover everything, and you can never get back the time you've put into a fight)

- I've seen haters post that it wasn't selling well, that's not accurate. The fight was almost sold out, I checked about a week ago on the SAP Arena website and only approx 900 tickets remained
