We don't know anything for sure, wlad could have ducked him even if it makes no logical sense and has some deeply illogical reason. It would appear that wlad has nothing to gain in ducking chisora except maybe (I'm stretching here) to force a haye fight through. which doesn't really make any sense as haye doesn't want to fight again till summer, so wlad would have plenty of time after the del boy fight. And del boy is not a big threat imo.
