    Ward was fighting at light heavyweight in the amateurs, and couldn't make super middleweight in his last fight....

    He just wants to fight smaller men

    Tune ups after layoffs are fine.

    It doesn't really match the "GGG is ducking Ward!!!1!" argument, though, to admit they're not jumping straight back in to big fights. No problem with knocking the rust off, but acknowledging that kills the claims of Golovkin avoiding him.

    What was Leonard's first fight at 160? What was Barrera's first fight at 126? What was Pacquiao's first fights at 126 and 130.

    Tune ups are ok, but history has shown you don't need them for great fights at all.

    But you are right. You can't say Ward needs a tune up for Kovalev and then say GGG is ducking. You just owned these people.
