There is one dominant force obviously. That's the problem really. There's only ONE guy.

No rational person denies Wlad Klitschko's dominance. The only problem is that the division itself is **** and the only real competition is his brother, and they won't ever fight.

A lot of people myself included have taken Wlad for granted. In the last 3 years he has pretty much cleaned out the division of contenders. If he wasn't in the division, Ruiz would most likely still be champ.

Wlad is the one eyed king in the land of the blind. If this was the 90's when Wlad was in his prime, he would find himself going up and down faster than gas prices. His chin would be exposed alot more, and while he may pick up a belt along the way, he would never hold it for long.

agreed but you are talking about one of the best heavyweight divisions of all time. Bowe,Holyfield, Tyson, Lewis, Tua, etc. all would have had a field day with Wlad but still

The problem isn't having a dominant guy, we all know Wladimir is #1 for a long time. There just isn't anyone else to spice things up.

Wlad's not the problem, but the lack of prospects, the absurdity of the sanctioning bodies, as well some of the promoters. Much of the hate towards Wlad or the klitschko's come because of the statements by some of his fans, which than get magnified by ten fold.

    How about another good guy?

Chagaev is a good fighter. His performances against Ruiz and Valuev are impressive, but they were a couple years ago and his injures/illnesses/lack of fights may have caught up to him.

If the Chagaev that fought Valuev shows up, it'll be the toughest fight Wlad has had since he lost to Brewster. Povetkin, Haye are also good fighters who would be competitive in most eras.

Your only as good as your competition, Wlad has none. The division is the worst it's been in well over 50 years, and you have one guy who fights like a robot, and without his size he would be nothing. And you got another brother who has all the skills needed to be an ATG, but when the going gets tough he falls apart at the seams. I'm sorry, I refuse to support either brother though if I had to I would take Vitali becuase he at least fights like a champ is suppose to in the ring.
