When looking at the three kings of the HW division, I just don't see the greatness that I saw in greats like Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis, Ali, Foreman, Mercer, Bowe, Frazier...etc
Wilder just had his first big test in 40 fights, Fury beat an out of prime Wlad and has not done anything significant since, and Joshua, although the most talented out of the three, is not as invincible as everyone has made him out to be. Sure, Joshua has the best resume, more talent, and a better personality compared to the other three, but he still has a lot more to prove to be considered ATG. I personally feel that the reason why they looks so dominant is because they are fighting in a weak HW era. If they were back in the 70's, 80's, 90's, and 2000's they probably wouldn't be as good. Does anybody else agree?

    Nope.

It is HEIGHT and SPEED and POWER that set these guys apart.

Fury is 6'9", Wilder is 6'7" and AJ is a beast.

I think they would be near the top in any era.

All overrated when compared to past greats, Wilder most notably so. Guys like Big George Foreman would destroy any of them. Ali would make them look silly.

It's not about them being legit, it's about whether their talent and competition match up with the great HW's from the past. And based on the eye test, their talent, and their competition it just doesn't seem so.

This may be the weakest HW division in history when looking back at the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and 2000's

I do not believe that either of these three would be top 5 in the 70's, 80's, or 90's tbh. Hell, if Mercer was in this era, he would probably be undisputed.

    No they not overrated.

You don't see the greatness because you don't want to see it, be a little more open minded and stop searching
for flaws only and consider the obvious strenghts all three of them have in abundance and you will see that
all of them are formidable heavyweights.

Guys need to ease up on the nostalgia. Nobody is discrediting the fighters from the past by saying fighters from
today are good. Eras are not comparable and the H2H thing comparing fighters from 50 years ago with fighters
from today is most of the time pointless.

It's not the strongest of eras but it's competitive and Joshua wilder and fury have very different styles and different strengths and weaknesses which makes things intriguing.

They aren't overrated as they are the best in the division. Triangle theory not applying to boxing aside, meaning each would struggle more with their tougher matchups but that doesn't mean they aren't the top. Just means styles make fights. Far as comparing them to past greats let them cook, **** ain't done yet. That's one annoying thing people do that I don't participate in. Discussing legacy before it's built while pretending their past heroes were perfect in a revisionist history sense. It's ****ing disgusting.

That honor goes to the Klitschko's era of the 2000's after Lennox Lewis retired.
