To Beat Andre Ward, What Must Carl Froch Do?

    For Carl to be Ward, what must his game plan be? Inside, outside awkward what?

    Keep ward from using his inside game ie keep it at range like against abraham but I doubt that will work on Ward

    Everyone who's posted on this topic says carl stays outside use's his

    jab, works the uppercuts and rought up ward on cliches. i say Froch

    needs to work the body to slow down ward and work of his jab alot more

    in this fight, control the tempo and ring. cut ward off get him into a corner

    or on the ropes and dig that body, rough clean gameplan. But more then

    likely The Cobra will do the exact oppose and gets outwork, i hope not

    but Ward's a good fighter

    He needs to control the range for a start once he can offset Ward from landing even on the gloves the Wards game should deteriarate over the course of the fight, the question is can Froch do this while scoring enough himself or will it look like a repeat of Khan Mckloskey

    Froch wont win , he will either be outboxed or he will control the fight from the outside and not get the decison.

    I don't think his game plan is any big mystery. People know what he needs to do to give himself a chance to win for the most part.

    The KEY, I think, for Froch is to capitalize when Ward makes a mistake and finds himself out of position. The more I think about this matchup, Froch is actually rather good at this.

    I'm starting to think Froch will have his chances to win. I still favor Ward, as I feel he's more versatile and has better overall skills, but the advantages Froch does have could well become a factor.

    It would suit Froch well to mix things up a lot and keep Ward thinking. If he can confuse Ward, he may even be able to set some traps. If he can do this, and capitalize on Ward's mistake, he can pull this off.

    I think the only chance he has is to KO Ward... can't prevent Ward from getting on the inside and working him over.

    I like both Froch and Ward now.... looking forward to a good fight

    The key for Froch will be workrate.

    If he can keep throwing & keep moving, Ward might have trouble getting inside. Plus, he'd then be ahead on points in the latter rounds, which might cause Ward to make a mistake.

    Has to be in the front foot and be offensive for every second of every round or he is not getting a decision.

    I'd say KO actually coz froch is not getting a decision no matter what he does
