Becoming noticed in the gym. Then competing on what are probably amateur shows promoted by your own club against other clubs in the country. Then probably the schoolboy/local/national route. Then I'd imagine it being selected for your country to go to the Olympics and then if you perform well you might "turn over"? I kinda get lost a bit myself on it as the amateur game doesn't appeal to me, but I hope that helps/I'm feeding you the correct info. :good
A registered pro boxer or amateur? I don't mean to sound rude, but you ask an awful lot of newbie questions for someone who's been around as long as you, and with as high a post count. It's just a little confusing.
Brah you register on the olympic website. There's a registration fee of about $50. It lasts til the end of the year so I suggest getting it in January
There's no test you need to pass to become either. Amateurs register with Olympic commission. Pros apply for a license with their state's sporting commission. Additional rules/policies may apply.
My suggestion: 1) Find a gym (up to you to do the research to find the place that best fits you as far as location, facility and best possible coach for your situation) 2) Do what your coach says The rest will take care of itself.
