Floyd is taller than Hatton. End of really, Hatton is a midget who is bulky, that dont make him bigger than Floyd.

 

Floyd at 130 is like Paul Williams at 147

 

Floyd wasn't all that big at 130. He wasn't like DLH or Gatti at 130 (or 135 for that matter).

I agree, they really should hold the weigh-ins on the day of the fight. If the fighters can't make the weight they really shouldn't be fighting in that division.

 

So what did that make Genaro Hernandez and Tony Pep?

 

For real...since when did Paul Williams fight guys with equal wingspan, whom outweighed him 10 pounds on fight night, or whom were 3-5 inches taller (which Floyd did at least 3 times @ 130).

What strikes me the most about the incongruency ( meaning blind nutthuggery) of this one is that Mayweather came from a Super Welter contest in May and Hatton from Light Welter fight in late June and they meet at 147 pounds in December of the same year with the first having the following physical advantages over the second : Height ( 5'8 3/4'' - 5'7''), Reach ( 72'' or 185 cm - 65'' or 165 cm), Chest (normal) ( 38 1/2" - 37"), Forearm (11'' - 9 1/2"), Thigh (22" - 20 1/2"), just that Ricky had a BIGGER Fist measurement ( 11 1/2" - 8") and a BIGGER Bicep measurement ( 13" - 12 1/2")... Actually what is this supposed to prove? That Mayweather used his superbly polished skills and that physical advantages had nothing to do in overcoming Hatton? That was in his previous fight against Hoya who was bigger but also older and inactive for 12 months...
