To everyone who uses Wlad vs Sanders as an argument that Haye can win the fight...

I've said that for years, but few believe it. Sanders didn't just punch Wlad, he headbutted him simultaneously on the opposite side of the head. Wlad was lucky not to break his neck. But that was a long time ago. As was the Brewster loss, which was freakish to say the least.

Wladimir today is machine. He executes his opponents when he can. Many people don't like what he does, but is it his fault that so many fighters choose to run away rather than exchange with him? Ibragimov and Chambers ran and lasted. Chagaev, Brock, Peter, Austin, Thompson, Brewster, Rahmann all made the mistake of standing in front of Wlad and got ko'd or tko'd. There is no doubting Wlad's power and skill. To do so is foolish.

Haye on the other hand is simply too wild to survive in a fight against Wladimir. He comes in with his hands very low and leads with his face. He is so open to a counter and so off balance, he often goes down from glancing blows. His advantages are obviously his speed, but his power to me seems overrated as both Harrison and Ruiz were both standing when their fights were ended. I'm sure he hits pretty hard, but not hard enough to take out a quality heavyweight with only one punch. He has to get several in to do real damage. He is also extremely prone to throwing rabbit punches and that is going to cost him big someday.

Based on their previous performances I think it's very safe to assume that Wlad has the power, accuracy, defensive and offensive skill, and chin advantage. Yes, both men have been down before, but Haye has been knocked down and hurt badly by non heavyweights, while Wlad has only been down at the hands of murderous punchers.

In the end, Wlad vs Haye is going to look a lot like the Ibragimov fight unfortunately. Haye will run. I just hope Wlad can catch him in the 12th like he did Chambers otherwise we will never hear the end of this ridiculous debate of who is better.
