Vitali did not ever bother to box Lewis and he was still winning on the scorecards. If Vitali had boxed Lewis he would never have been cut. Still, if that fight had gone one more round Lewis would have been knocked out.
Wlad may have a couple of plusses, but Vitaly is far the more well-rounded. Psychologically, mentally, technically, and physically strong.
but he didn't box, and he did get cut, and it did get stopped, and lewis didnt get knocked out. you are bein very speculative there. in terms of facts, it is, to my knowledge, the toughest fight vitali had had to date. which is why i was wondering, has he had any other tough fights.
Yeah, I was amazed to see Sanders chasing Vitali from pillar to post . I saw this only lately: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zw2F3CmgTy8&feature=related[/ame] But it's an extremely rare view. I can't think of any heavyweight that lost less rounds that Vitali in his entire career.
You're just a hater. You know full well a prime Vitali would have beaten Briggs, Tua and Tyson at the time Lewis beat them.
I also know full well that Lewis is a top 8 heavyweight of all-time, and that Vitali isn't even in the top 20. I also know that he isn't even the best heavyweight in his own family, not by a long stretch.
I'm following Klitschkos since the beginning of their pro career. Vatili is hard mofo.. and very smart fighter. Besides of mentioned here situations i only remeber Timo Hoffmann giving him hard fight. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxdntmrlvds[/ame]
Haye had early moments, and landed his right hand hard in round one. Vitali has the best rounds won to rounds lost ratio in the history of retired champions. It is a fact that he has never given up more than two consensus rounds on the judges score cards. Vitali has never been behind after three rounds on the scorecards.
