Yes thank you Floyd and Ricky. GREAT fight of 2 Unbeaten P4P fighters! Much respect to Ricky too. Even though I don't care for his fighting style I have to respect the fact he took on Mayweather.

Indeed and a refreshing thread lads.

The class displayed after the fight was refreshing too.

Loved Ricky's crack "What a fluke that was!" he fought like a man possessed, Mayweather like the maestro he tells us about.

Much more entertaining than DLH PBF I agree.

That was the biggest fight in boxing history(in terms of revenue generated, not adjusting for inflation). It gave the sport a big boost. Every promoter was more interested in making marquee fights after seeing the revenue that fight generated. Mayweather/Hatton though is the fight of the millenium

i didn't say dlh-pbf was not a great event. it was. i just meant that if you compare the two fights and if you were not a boxing fan, you'd mos tlikely appreciate hatton-pbf more than dlh-pbf because of the quality of the fight itself.

Heh, when I started reading this thread I thought for a second I wasn't on the ESB forum!

it's great to see the real fans of the sport give props to both fighters.

I think if Ricky wasn't so emotional he could have made it an even better fight and the ref stopped both great inside fighters letting the punches go. Why the **** is every great fighter obsessed with being a promoter.
