.. Like Toopretty said: "You don't go from Pac to Matt Hatton".

So my question is: Has he EVER been serious to really sign the Pac / FMJ fight had the negotiation went well. Or this matchup with Matt Hatton has always been the REAL PLAN all along, just delayed to first pretend to this good sport that he's interested to what his fans wants to see?

Con'ing you (his fans), in other words.

honestly, i think most floyd fans who would give you a fair objective opinion are like myself, former floyd fans. any fans still sticking with mayweather are likely to sing his praises and bash pac, same old record

honestly? I think floyd wanted the fight on his terms and to **** around with pac, push him around. once pac stood up to his demands, he said "**** this, i don't need this fight." as floyd has said time and again, legacy means nothing to him. floyd can't say he fights purely for money and then take the high ground and act as if he really wants a career defining fight. he'd rather fight 3 mathew hattons for the money he'd get for 1 pac any day of the week...pac was too much risk and when floyd couldn't get his way, it was all the excuse he needed to back out

That's completely contrary to what happened in the mediation. Who refused the compromise?

I salute Jorodz and Toopretty. Two former floyd fans, for their unbias and objective thoughtful analysis on this matter.

there shouldn't have been a compromise. i can see both sides of the argument but it just seems that floyd was looking for an out. i honestly believe that if pac had gone with the blood tests floyd would have had some other demand, and another after that. this is one of those issues that NO ONE knows what really went down and we'll only have our opinions based on rumours and half truths. which is fine, but neither side will ever agree because of that

wether Floyd fights Hatton or not is not an indicator of wether he was serious in the Pac negotiations.

There were already rumors/reports that FMJ has already planned to fight in UK b4 the megafight negotiations, so I suspect this matchup with Matt Hatton has always been the REAL PLAN all along, just delayed to first pretend to this good sport that he's interested to what his fans wants to see.

Seriously You think he didn't want to fight pac for 40million dollars !!! Some people would sleep with their own sister for 40mill !!! Pac should have just taken the, and Arum should have kept the issue out of the media... Instead pac and his decided to grandstand the whole, "Floyd wants Olympic style testing"

Not answer to the question lol

IMO i dunno, but when you look at their past opponents is would seem Floyd wanted an out. I mean why didn't floyd fight Cotto before Pac, or try get it on with Clottey/Quintana etc. when coming back. But if he does fight M.Hatton, then for sure IMO he had no intention of really wanting Pac.

let's just wait if floyd really will push through with the M hatton fight.....

he might wait for mosley - berto winner......who knows??

but if he does pursue the latter....then we all know his real intentions are....
