Fights should always go to their natural conclusion. Refs should generally wait until a fight is clearly over. Typically, this should mean someone is on the canvas, out cold.

 

The fight was over, what was the point of continuing? Pascal clearly had nothing left, you ref blazers are idiots

The ref was spot on . He stopped the fight exactly right. Now Pascal can get the rematch he fully deserves . If the ref had let Pascal get hit like that again it could have ended in tragedy.
To be honest I expected a fairly easy Kovalev KO win but that did not happen Pascal was right there & earned my respect. I hope they give him a rematch he deserves it

 

It was a great stoppage. We are talking about light heavyweights here. And especially the hardest punching light heavy. Jean should send Luis Pabon a gift basket.
