He was one of those great actors, and real life street guys that they don't seem to have as stars any more.

I think Mickey Rourke fell into that category in his younger days. Now he looks like a circus clown hes had so much plastic surgery.

 

I heard it wasn't plastic surgery but a Hearns right hand.

 

Rourke was more in love with the idea of being a boxer, than actually being one.. I sparred him a few times down in Miami in the 90's when he had his career going. He was really nothing more than a four round club level fighter. I would see him out on the town with his entourage smoking cigarettes while he was in training for a fight. Kind of funny really. The guy is pretty cool though, and always pulled the hottest chicks.
He started getting a lot of plastic surgery around the time he filmed Wild Orchid and really has changed his appearance a lot. He also did a lot of steroids and HGH. Now he looks horrible.
