I have the biggest respect for mexicans boxers.15 years ago,when no cubans where at the pro i started rooting for mexicans.If u love boxing u most love the heart of mexican fighters. But dont u feel kind of bad when a title is handed to someone like Chavez Jr or even Canelo Alvarez-knowing that they dont deserve it.Dont u feel ashamed when the great Morales-just coming off of a display of courage against Maidana-is set up to fight for a title against an old Barrios who has never fought at 140 lbs? ...i love the way Rios is coming up in the ranks and how he is beating the right opposition every time.Or Mike Garcia,very well managed by his brother Robert.Underrated Orlando Salido who demolished super favorite Lopez in great fashion.Those are the champs i want to see.I'm sure Canelo will get to that point someday. There are posters in this forum-mexicans-with extense knowledge about boxing-(some nut heads like everywhere too)-tell me what u think? peace, of course.

my business partner for 5 years is mexican(he doesnt give a **** about boxing)i have very amicables exchanges with mexicans in this forum. i have plenty of mexicans friends, you just dont happen to be one.
I agree with you 100%. I call a spade a spade and I'm not even sure Canelo will ever develop into a REAL champ. Chavez, I'm sure will never turn out to be a REAL champ. Rios and Garcia are the types of fighters us chicanos can be proud of.
No mexican will argue against your thread. Im mexican and I believe Canelo will be a good boxer, but his title definetly was a gift and we all know it. I became a fan of boxing since the Castillo vs Corrales I Fight and since I´ve been learning about the politics of boxing and the sport has a lot of things that for me are not logical and go against the nature of seeking the best for the sport Morales is a true warrior and a future hall of famer, but he definetly shouldn´t be fighting for the title agains Barrios. Bradley didn´t do what the fans wanted him to do (fight khan) but under strict present rules he shouldn´t been stripped. Under the utopy of having one champion in each class he should be stripped for not facing Khan, but that´s another topic......
