Floyd is art in motion....He shows glimpses of true greatness and incredible ability in every fight. He's a bit too defensive for most but Floyd's ability to zone out the critics and stick to his gameplan has worked well. He's undefeated. Floyd is a surgeon in the ring...he's got the tools, talent, resources and intelligence to operate at this level and he's truly a great boxer. He's not the most exciting, but some of the **** he's able to do is well worth watching his fights just to catch those moments. I just wish he took more risks instead of fighting so conservatively to ensure he walks away without talking punishment or risking the chance of losing.
Outside of the ring: Nothing. He's a lying, immoral scumbag. Inside the ring: Specifically, I admire his stamina/conditioning, all aspects of his defence, and his handspeed when throwing single shots such as the straight right.
When he let's his fist do the talking. His fights against angel manfredy and arturo gatti(rip) was actually pretty good. I didn't like floyd sr talking **** to manfredy's corner right after the fight was stopped but that was actually a pretty good performance. It was expected to be one sided but the gatti fight was unbelievable. I actually felt sorry for gatti but it was good that they stopped that fight. Gatti got his ass whoop.
The thing and the very thing I like about Floyd is how he treat his fans (*****s). Like ****. :hat:hat:hat
boxing skills, work ethic AND that he prays to God everyday.. some traits I simply do not have..even as a christian.
