I see Pavlik fans bring up how Pavlik fought Hopkins as a way to try to insult King Arthur Abraham opposition but they fail to mention how Pavlik did'nt win one single round against Hopkins and got embarassed at that, things got so desperate in the Pavlik corner in that fight that Jack Loew suggested to Pavlik that he should try to fight like Calzaghe, a fighter that Pavlik fans hate.

On top of that Pavlik looked extremely garbage in his fight against Marco Rubio, he struggled to knock out a 'C' level fighter with a horrible skin condition and these same Pavlik fans say Pavlik knocks out King Arthur in 8 rounds.

His trainer didn't only tell him to fight like Calzaghe(the man they're "chasing"), he also told him to double and triple the jab. :good

STFU hater.... 1st off- Pavlik did not look "Etremely garbage" as you say against Rubio... he dominated every round against a guy who did nothing but run and try not to get hit, then made him quit and cry on his stool while his trainers tried to coerce him to continue.
2nd off -- You were bashing Pavlik vs AA, try and imagine with out a bias mind what AA vs Hopkins would look like.. He would definitely stop AA.
3rd off -- If Rubio is a C level fighter, then Simon is a F level fighter... and AA did much worse than Pavlik did against Rubio.

All his trainer ever says is stick to that double ****ing jab.... even after Pavlik almost got KO'd by Taylor, the first thing Loew says is STICK TO THAT DOUBLE JAB.

No sound advice.. Pavlik has obviously been by himself his entire career and been depending on his physical tools.... much like Hatton before they got Mayweather SR in the corner .

Sure thing man, Abraham is a guy who struggles against F class fighters and Pavlik dominates D class fighters, we get it.

Can team Pavlik sign to fight Abraham already?, all these excuses mean nothing really. If there are better/bigger options for Pavlik out there then sure we'll understand but is there?, if so tell us about them. We are all newbies here and require more information from the likes of you so please give us a lesson.

So Pavlik is an elite now who trains his self and has been alone all the way to the undisputed middleweight title, I love the fairytale so far. All I'm asking for is to see them sign to fight Abraham, I know Rubio was his mandatory so I'm not going to criticize anything there. Just wondering why his team announced they're considering Mora, who's coming off a loss to Vernon Forrest at 154, rather than mentioning Abraham as a possible opponent?

I know you're going to tell me Abraham sucks and has nothing on his resume, sure thing man whatever you say, just can we please understand why the hell Pavlik and his team aren't at least considering Abraham as an option?

Are there better/bigger options out there?, if so please name them and educate us.

Obviously they are not scared of AA , thats just an ignorant thing to say. Its all in Arums corner... he is a business man and is trying to get the most out of Pavlik... it really bothers me.

You are acting like a newbie though, all this Pavlik bashing about his opponents.... he ****ing has said he wants to fight AA and unify , its not his call.

Again a response with an insult when my post has zero insults, sure thing man, I'm the newbie. Taking that from you is a compliment.

I thank you by the way for letting me know that Arum is a business man, for a minute I thought he gives away watermelon in Las Vegas.

Now I ask the question again, why hasn't his team shown any interest?, and if it's true that Pavlik wants Abraham and badly why did he recently talk down about Abraham like he's not worth the title shot?

Stop being condescending , you try and act like your some sort of genius because you have spent the better part of the last 5 years on an internet forum?

1st - the mora fight has not even been finalized , and I really don't like this anyway. If I had it my way Pavlik's next fight would be against AA and then after that Sturm or Winky. Then I would want to see how he fairs at 168.

2nd - Why don't you criticize AA equally? The guy has done nothing but fight C level fighters. At least Pavlik has stepped in with live guys before.

After his very last fight he stated he wants Abraham and to Unify. I don't see how you are not getting this.

Naw, the business thing only goes so far.

It's starting to appear that Pavli, at a minimum, has some nervousness about facing Abraham.

The longer he appears to duck him, the greater will be that perception.

Many rank Arthur as the man at 160. If 2009 ends without a Pavlik-Abraham bout (or at least scheduled), then most will see AA as the champ.

Pavlik is in the driver's seat here. He can't hide behind Arum forever.

Did you watch the Simon / AA fight?
