I don;t run nor back out from any fight or debate...I said that PBF fought the fight of his life and won in impressive fashion...but my prefight analysis was right on, the style of fight that Ricky would ahve to do in order to win, how PBF would handle the adversity etc... The only issue I didn;t took in account is the vast experience of Roger Mayweather, hwo IMO, was the one that placed plan B on PBF arsenal to dismantle the pressure from Ricky, and I say Plan B because after the first round it was obvious the change in Philosophy from Floyd, and he execute to a tee the plan, I also didnl;t took in consideration the accurate puncher will hurtthe one that lacks head movement... Like I said, Judos to PBF on the win and he fought the fight of his life....that I am sold on PBF..no, as long as he is a disgrace to humanity I can;t not bring myself to be a fan of a arrogant ass hole as PBF...is not hate but..he is no: Ali Roberto Clemente Tommy Smith or John Carlos Athletes that care about what was happening aroud them and laid on the line when it counted...in real life.....PBF is all about him , his fame and his money..that much is clear... That he can box and is a great boxer...no doubt..that he is an arrongant selfish ass hole...no doubt....
...really....he gave the prime of his career up forhis releigious beleive...now that is a great sacrifice.....what PBF has sacrificed on his life....what? Buying a Mercedes instead of a Lamborghini...doesn;t count as sacrifices in life....BTW...
He didn't give up ****. Those years were gone one way or the other. If he agress to go to Vietnam he still can't fight because he is in vietnam (maybe dead). And I really don't buy the whole religion thing either. I think he just didn't want to risk getting his head blown off by VC
Well Ali was not only making his own religious statement but a Racial statment also where over 50% of the young men gatting drafted during the zenith of Vietnam were Black Americans, I don't expect for you know this since you probalby read it on a book, I lived the experience ....Ali gain all the respect from on minorities by taking on US Goverment
Why becase we put value on Character...it is clear that many of the younger generation put value only on one thing "money", and that;s why we see the destruction of society vlues as we know it....
He took on the government for selfish reasons though. He used the blacks getting drafted thing as an excuse. All it boiled down to was he didn't want to get his head blown off. As far as Mayweather not caring about anyone about himself, did you see the rows of kids there sponsored by mayweather?
**** by all means lets give hive him a Peace Nobel Prize right now....PBF is a selfish individula and if someone look funny was PBF trying to sound human after the fight... Ali or Clemente will always be far ahead of PBF, since they laid it on the line for their beleve and inner convictions....something that is totally alien to PBF
There's nothing wrong with putting value on character, but if you're basing your fight predictions on it, then you have to expect people not to take you seriously. While were're talking about character, who showed more last night? Floyd endured the taunts of the British fans and Hatton. He also heard the British fans boo the national anthem. He kept his composure the entire fight and even showed gratitude to the same fans that booed him. Meanwhile, Hatton tried to punch Mayweather in the back of the head when Floyd was lying face bown, defenseless, in between the ropes. He then proceeded to turn his back on Floyd and act like a child when he got that point deduction.
Ali didn't lay **** on the line for his inner convictions. He used a political reason as an excuse to get out of the draft. Name one person that Ali actually helped. One charity that he actually donated time or money to? His biggest "laying it on the line" was for selfish reasons. IN any case it sounds to me like you are just nitpicking at something about Floyd to criticize. YOu can't find anything to say about him as an athlete because he spanks everyone that they put in front of him
No I didn;t base my prediction on character alone, but character inside the ring and character as a human being are two differnt things...I disagree that Hatton hit PBF on the head, it was clear on the slow mo that PBF turn on purpose to protect himself... Sure the Brits fans were rambouscious, but hell lets not forget that PBF insulted their darling son....was I pissed when BHop **** on the PR flag..you get your ass I was...and up to this day I have not forgive him for that ..I wish that when he went our running a couple of Boricuas would have get hold of him, I assure you the fight would have needed to be postponned... Now did you hear at the end of the fight the same Brit fans singing " There's only one Floyd Mayweather"...they came around and they were very gracefull in defeat, far more than they should ahve after PBF insults... PBF after thefight was founny on his remarks and it was clear...
I'll just add that while you say that Ali was sooooo religious that he laid it all on the line for his inner convictions about his religion. 1. He's not a ****ing Quaker. Muslims go to war all the time. 2. Don't you think it's odd that he was only sticking to his religion when it involved not risking his life in a war. He had no problem marrying non muslim women or getting divorced or ****ing women out of wedlock. No practicing Ramadan, **** I don't even think he has ever made the pilgrimage to Mecca (feel free to correct me if I am wrong on that one)
I recomend you read the Coran before you comment something so ignorant like your comments... You have releigious extremsit on all forms of religion, and those extremeist are the culprit of all religious wars...from Christians to Muslims
