What Im saying is your attempt was pretty transparent...You were tring to get someone to say that No one one DM'd resume could beat Toney, so in a backwards way saying that DM fought fighters that were better then Toney...OH YEAH FAILED..When the question poised was pretty much if Hopkins or Jones had faced the guys that Calzaghe faced whould they too have been unbeatten...The anwser is an UNDOUBTABLE yes, yes they would have been unbeatten...So your way of tring to downplay it was to bring up the fact that Toney lost to Thadzi, who also lost to Washington who lost to Toney..Or Griffen beatting Toney who lost to Jones..So you failed...When the question that you should have poised is would Jones had beatten everyone of DM resume, which you couldnt ask, because Jones did pretty much beat everyone on DM resume that was worth him fighting:hey

Nah, Im just use to your type of bull..

This is your attempt to get the guy to say NO, Toney would have beatten everyone that DM did. You already knowing the answer...So what you were tring to say is that Toney couldnt beat the guys on DM's resume, as if that had anything to do with Hopkins and Jones beatting the ones of Calzaghe's resumes...but what you failed to mention is the fact that Toney beat guys that beat Thadzi. It was a very weak attempt, hopefully aimed at some 13 year old kid that isnt old enough to recall that stuff.

You were way off in bring DM and toney into question, but I understand that it was really the onl example that would came to your mind...

Now on the off chance that you actaully put some thought into that post and you were tring to say that you dont really know if Hopkins or Jones could beat them being that Toney couldnt beat everyone of DM resume, which was soft. Then you still failed...Everyone knows that Toney went into a tailspin after his lost to Jones, pulled a gun on his promoter, spent some time in a special room that was soft all around...Not to mention the fact that Griffin was beatten the **** out of DM right up until a very very questionable stoppage...One in which Griffin never went down, never stopped throwing and was only stunned...

Either way YOU FAILED, and your detour shows or proves NOTHING like Normal...

Yeah whatever if it make you feel better about yourself...If that were the case then why would you laugh at the kid for saying that Jones beat Griffins ass...Which in fact he did being that Griffin was already knocked down at the point in which the fight was stopped on the DQ...Your sooo ****ing full of ****, your like Farmboxer Jr...Sad

Its not worth having interactions with the likes of you and your shifting points of view and always tring to make the stupid **** you say a joke once you have been called on it..BYE-Bye on to a more productive waste of time:hi:

So you're saying that if Jones and Hopkins had both faced all the opponents Calzaghe had faced they would both be unbeaten? :think

Yeah pretty much...There are a few problems being that they couldnt fight themselves....But at Joes age...What Im saying is Hopkins would have beat the JONES that Cazlaghe beat. And Jones already beat a prime Hopkins... So yeah if faced the fighters that He faced when he faced them yes they would have been unbeatten...

    Don't buy the American propaganda.

I like how you respect DM in the post right after this one, but he did not HIDE out in Germany. Germany is considered by many as the hotbed of boxing of modern times. The Klits fight there, Valuev, Chag, there is more money for boxers in germany than there is in the USA.

One could just as easily say Roy and Hops hid out in the USA.

Location doesn't matter (unless there are blatant robberies involved...none of these for DM), quality of opposition does.

I agree, and they would've done it in spectacular fashion.

Hell Hopkins today would beat Robo-Kessler's arse (Calzaghe's best win), and Hopkins is 44 years old.

Conversely, if Joe fought the exact same fights Hopkins did- do you think he'd do better, worse, or the same as Hopkins' 49-4-1?

    I don't see more than 1, possibly 2 losses he'd have had.

That too is a great point...Joe would have lost to Jones no doubt, maybe even Oscar and Tito at that point if he fought at 160. Tarver, Wright, Pavlik and Taylor, Johnson, Joe would have lost at least two of those fights. Echols would have cause Joe some problems.

Its alittle bit different being that both Jones and Hopkins fought at middle and Joe never did.

I think that it would be fair to say that Joe would have had a very similar record to Hopkins and Jones had they fought the same people. I think that he would have had more loses then both but that is me.

If fought the guys that Hopkins fought I think that Joe would have lost to Jones, Johnson, Wright, Oscar at 160. Would have had serious problems with Tarver, Echols, Taylor and Pavlik likely losing at least one and maybe two of those fights.

Fair point, problem is Joe didnt test himself vs elite fighters in thier prime so we really dont know.
