Mathew Hatton said Live tonight on BBC Radio London that he would be a huge underdog!

Come on guys you've seen Rocky!

He also said that he has never been down in the gym, amateur or pro fight.

He said "there are people out there saying I'll be demolished in 3 rounds. I can Guarentee you that won't happen!"

He also said "Right now Floyd is obviously in a different class to me, but in boxing sometimes the huge underdog wins!"

"I will give a good account of myself, given the chance".

Fair play I say! He was very honest. Check out the interview on the BBC Radio London Site on Steve Bunce's Boxing Hour. Get it on the BBC i Player.

Yes he will destroy Mayweather. This is Tyson McNelely all over again. Maybe he can borrow McNeelys entrance music to make it interesting.

All we need is for Hatton's mom to die, mayweather to go to the UK and not train or take the fight seriously, mayweather's corner to not be prepared and then we have the biggest upset since tyson douglas.

Billy Graham did an interview yesterday saying that Matt wouldn't land a punch the entire fight, and he trained him for years.

I hope this doesn't happen and I don't think it will. Amir Khan needs to win a few fights and then Floyd can cross the pond and spank him around in front of a big crowd without any backlash.

what is even worse is if floyd pretends to carry him for the 12 full rounds.

Floyd would not demolish him in 3 rounds even if he could. Floyd would have to try and carry him for a bit to give the fight a sliver of credibility.

Now don't get me wrong I'm not a Hatton fan or anything.

But when fighters start trying to Carry etc is exactly when something unespected can happen.

"I would be quite disappointed in Floyd (if he took this fight), I really would," he continued, "but everyone is entitled to an easy payday. Then again, and let’s face it, Floyd can go out and have an easy payday against someone like Marquez, that is how good he is, so why have this one? Matthew wouldn’t be able to land a punch and boxing would be embarrassed, but good luck to him."

I would be more interested in Mayweather-Khan, or Mayweather-Ortiz fight (if they really want to throw Ortiz to the wolves).
