To the Idiotic Pavlik Fans.

Somehow they equate that wearing down both the very average Edison Miranda and the overhyped Jermain Taylor equals the ability to control and spark Calzaghe with a single serious of right hands.

It's perplexing to say the least. Pavlik is very average.

 

Well the hilarious part about it is that they go off of hype alone and name recognition. In truth, Anthony Mundine is twice the ability of Taylor and Pavlik, he would easily defeat both of them, most likely by KO. This is also not a fraudulent statement, it's pretty close to fact.

We saw how Kessler decisively defeated Mundine and we saw how Calzaghe decisively defeated Kessler.

Kessler is a premium A grade fighter, both Taylor and Pavlik and the rest of the MW division clock in the B level, that's fact. The SMW division has been long underrated due to the fact it's had fighters that they don't personally recognise.

If KOing Jermain Taylor and nearly getting KOed yourself is worthy of this kind of praise, well, why should we care what they think? I feel it's fun to toy with them.

 

Maybe Calzaghe would punch himself out in 3 rounds?

 

Calzaghe is one of the best fighters of our time, he has the complete boxing skills. I also like Kelly Pavlik and wouldn't say that he's a hype job. He beat two good, undefeated fighters and earned his belt. Pavlik has a few things to improve on(he's still only 25 years old) and I think that in the future he can give Calzaghe a good fight. Pavlik is tall, determined, has good power and stamina, and can take a good punch, those traits make him a tough opponent for anyone.

 

Correction to my post above, only Taylor was undefeated although Miranda beat Abraham by my own scoring.

 

It would be a worse beatdown than the Lacy fight, anyone with an ounce of boxing knowledge can surely see that.

Calzaghe would make Pavlik look stupid. Calzaghe TKO 8

 

Coming from a big Kelly Pavlik fan, he would be in over his head against Calzaghe. He would have a chance if Calzaghe was bordering on being a shot fighter, but it's clear Calzaghe still is one of the best in the world. Calzaghe would take away Pavlik's right hand and Pavlik's jab. He would move, give him angles, out jab him, and make him look bad.

Calzaghe beats Pavlik, no question in my mind

There will always be somebody's fan that **** me off. i thought it would have ended with Lacys but no, it hasnt.

Either way this is a fight i want to see, Id much prefer this fight to hopkins at this stage.
