Fedor is THE #1 Heavyweight in the World and THE #1 mythical P4P fighter in the World.

If Dana White had ANY balls he would put Lesnar or Silva in a one and done fight to PROVE what he spews but he won't. He learned his lesson when he sent Liddell over to Japan to face Jackson and he got that ass whipped.

If ANYONE is "scared" it is Dana White.

A Fedor victory over either guy leaves his whole promotion meaningless.

The UFC is all about marketing and nothing else. Problem is so many of these "fans" have fallen for the whole chirade.

Of course they have the best stable in the world (now). Dana has put them in a fantastic position financially because he rewarded his fighters so poorly over the years. This has allowed him to buy up organisations that have failed and take the best fighters they had.

Being helped by the billions casino Fertita brothers surely helps as his rich benefactor. No other organisation has had that priveliege. Other than PRIDE which was only big in the East - the same way the UFC is big in the West ( a market they have yet to break and in my opinion never will ) they have no competition in the Western Hemisphere other than a bunch of small and fairly insignifcant regional orgs. Its not healthy business for rivals or for the fighters. A monopoly is never good for obvious reasons.

Its not about balls its about money. Why risk your business and that of your partners to prove you have balls.
Anyway isn't that what they do on the "street"?... most of them end up dead or in jail. I'd rather have the money than balls.

Nobody is scared, least of all Fedor.

M1 is hesitant to do anything that loses them their business model, Fedor's name, though.

The UFC would still have the second best HW who can pass a drug test, so their HW division would be just fine under your scenario. How the rest of the company would be effected negatively is pretty unclear. They have the best fighter at every other division. If you include the WEC they have 4 of the top 5 pfp, 3 of whom are about even with Fedor, and 7 of the top 10, minimum.

How a company can be "just marketing" and "have the best roster" in the same sentance is beyond reason.

Affliction had money, Bodog had billionaire money, EliteXC had money. The UFC is the biggest because they are the best. The fertittas money is not any bigger than many of the failed companies, they are just run much better.

They are also not a monopoly, they meet none of the requirements for a monopoly.

The emotional baggae you two clowns carry around is pathetic. Just go sit in a dark room and watch all the organizations you loved; try not to think about Dana taking them over or burying them, maybe you will stop the vaginal bleeding then.

Fedor is obviously not scared of anyone - but his management team is going to hold back his career at this point by keeping him out of the UFC.

That said - it's just a straight up idiotic business move to offer anyone a one and done deal. Why would you risk an entire company on one fight without having a guarantee on the back end? Hell, even STRIKEFORCE wouldn't risk Bret the ****ing Grim Rogers on a one time deal to replace Barnett at Affliction Trilogy.

    Scur,

I am glad someone else understands this. If you realy look at things White has basically turned the UFC into the WWF it is basically a circus.

Thats EXACTLY what i think they are. They push there stars the same way the WWE does and they market them the same way Vince does. As far as im concerned its the same product except without all the gloss of professional wrestling.

so what if they are? you half wits cant see through your hatred of dana and the ufc that the wwe is a perfect business model for the ufc. It makes their fighters household names, builds drama for ppvs that break records as far as viewers. Overall a damn good business model for them to use. maybe if the people at pride, or affliction, or bodog had used the model for the empire the mcmahons built they would still be around. but they didnt and they are dead, get over it. the ufc is the best mma org in the world, the biggest mma org in the world and if you dont like it than i guess your beyond reasoning.

Why would the UFC allow Fedor and some rat**** organization like M-1 to take 50% of their profits?

    Thats just absurd.

And if Fedor is going to sign it has to be for a multi-fight contract because the UFC is not going to trot out their golden boy who cant fight for **** on the feet and could just as easily get embarassed in the biggest fight in MMA history in front of thousands of fans and millions of viewers. It would make the UFC look terrible and to top that off Fedor would just walk away after his 1 fight contract after just exposing the UFC.

I dont think that the Fedor argument holds water any longer for the UFC. I mean they're doing Florian/BJ and Silva/Forrest this weekend..its going to be huge in Philly. Whether Fedor blows any UFC HW in a hypothetical matchup is moot. Whats more important is Fedor better not lose, hes losing his sizzle quickly.

Its hard to topple UFC at this point. Brock can lose to Fedor in 30 seconds and the UFC will put out Silva/GSP the next month.. Ive seen these kind of things before in business, sports, everyday life..you cant stop this kind of momentum, better get out of the way.

I love Pride more thats no secret but the UFC is the only game in town from the fans and any fighters perspective (besides Fedor). Its here to stay and like I said if Fedor loses, game over for M1.

MMA might be or might have passed its peak.. thats debatable.. whats not debatable is that the UFC is king.

haha, of course Scur understands this he has a 100% anti Dana and UFC post policy, I f you said anything negative about the UFC he would agree 1000% he is a simpleton without any other thoughts besides hating the UFC.

He thinks all the millions of UFC fans are duped by Dana and we are all fools for wanting to watch the best fight the best. He would rather watch Fedor fight Zulu then fight Lenar and then talk about how good Zulu really is and that he would be Lesnar.

Not just beat him but destroy him and he even said Gilbert Yvel would best him as well.

It just shows how ignorant he is and when he makes comments like those he loses all credibility.
