To Those Complaining About Johnson as Vitali's Opponent!

I'm never conned by an 0 I went guy by guy on your list and said why they dont deserve or are unavailable. Who else is left for Vitali for a quick tune up. Most guys would not take a fight vs Vitali in 2 months. Johnson has four pretty good wins on his resume. You even said the guys on your list do not deserve a shot. Then why not Johnson if you excluded your amazing list of the best guys by the prestigious IBO of being worthy than why not. You make Johnson seem undeserving he is ranked by the Ring get over it.

 

Pete Radamacher was the Olympic champion when he fought, I accept it was a weird situation but he was still a great fighter, I think he lost his next fight as wel but he fought great fighters not like the fighters of today. I work full time in boxing by the way. I am not knocking Vitali or indeed Johnson, Vitalis team want the easiest fights and Johnsons team want the best pay days. My arguement is with the quality control that gave it the thumbs up.

 

Vitali's team and easy fights yeah right. He took on Peter who was highly regarded, Gomez a tough challenger beat Virchis and McCal, Areolla the hottest prospect and dubbed by some the savior of the division, and now a young undefeated prospect with decent wins 2 months after his last fight his 3rd of the year easy my ass. Johnson is taking the shot of his life who wouldnt. And you are knocking Johnson.

 

And Radamacher was not ready watch the fight. He had his moments but was then outclassed. He did not deserve that fight and it was a dumb career move.

 

Anyway your arguement is weak you tell me Johnson is not deserving and you give me a list of guys who you say are also undeserving. Where is your evidence. And you have failed to give me a guy who deserves a shot instead of Johnson at this point in time, not the future

 

No you misunderstand me. Peter, Gomez were top drawer fights especially after Vitalis lay off. I think Arreola was very over rated to be honest and he offered nothing in that fight. KJ will probably be the same. My point is with the sanctioning bodie for allowingg bthe fight but I am not critizing either fighter. KJ has got his chance and good luck to him.

 

You could not have said this 2 pages ago. and I thought Areolla like Johnson stood no chance but I find the two to be worthy.

Vitali stays busy out of necessity, he would slow down if he took another break at his age...this fight happens while Maskaev fights a tune up and him and Austin fight for a shot at the title

Instead of complaining about the state of boxing, use your IBO status and create a tournament or something

No ALL ON THAT LIST are more deserving than KJ because he has done nothing. The four wins for KJ you quote are fighters barely top 100. I process around 20 fights a week, challengers normally have had a couple of measureabe fights, the whole quality control has gone out of the window recently with the interims. The WBC and WBA are really falling from grace they are allowing more and more fights for challengers that have no right.
Boxing should be about beating rated fighters and ascending the ratings, not dodging every hurdle and getting a gift shot. Those 30 fighters I quoted should be fighting each other.

 

Yet you give me no name. Sounds like your just knocking the 4 belts and cheer leading for the IBO I kinda dont like sales pitches being mixed in with intelligent boxing conversations.

Its not a sales pitch IBO ratings are totally independent WBC, BA, BO, IBF fighters are all treated the same.
All those boxers on that list of 30 are more deserving than KJ, but I accept many of them would be terrible world title fights. If you want better fights than KJ, here goes Ray Austin, Oleg Maskaev, Ruslan Chaegev, James Toney, Vlad Virchis, Oliver McCall, Timor Ibragimov, Dominic Guinn, Cedric Boswell, David Tua, Oleg Platov. Vitali wins all those easy.

 

No disrespect, but any sanctioning body that recognises a fight involving Matthew Hatton as being for a 'world title' needs to seriously reconsider it's rules.

That said, I do consider it the 3rd best org, behind the IBF and the WBC.

 

It is a sales pitch you work for them and all you talk about is stats and ranks. Also like I said before there are just as many negatives with their names as there are Johnson's. So why not Johnson
