To Those Complaining About Johnson as Vitali's Opponent!

Joe, Johnson is a voluntary defense. Vitali just fought a couple of months ago against Arreola. He can fight whoever he wants as long as he's defending at least once a year. Johnson is available, which most of the others aren't or they've already been beaten, he's one of the higher ranking heavyweights at the moment, and he'll be put in his place.

Whether he 'deserves' a title shot or not is irrelevant. Vitali is only required to fight one mandatory a year. Aside from that he can beat the **** out of whoever he wants to stay active, and he's doing that. Aside from complaining, how about we appreciate the fact that he's staying busy and putting another US fighter on the big stage?

Honestly, i think most sane people know better than to criticize Vitali klitshcko. he is a beast and can't be beaten if he takes his opponents seriously. It's Vitali's fight to win or lose.

To carry off the prize that American bigmouth Johnson has predicted that Vitaly will be knocked out somewhere between round 1 and 9.

Johnson can praise the Lord and light some candles that he was born in the USA and is the owner of a very important piece of paper called American passport.Otherwise this clubfighter would never ever have gotten the opportunity to showcase his non-existent skills in front of 15.ooo spectators and millons around the globe sitting in front of their tv sets.

When Haye was looking for a 'top 10' opponent back in mid-2008 Kevin Johnson was touted about for a while. Everytime his name got mentioned on boxing forums everyone criticised his credentials as an opponent and called Haye all sorts of names for trying to fight Johnson. Now people are trying to justify Johnson as a legit opponent for Vitali?! GTFO, Johnson is a feather-fisted nobody. Vitali will knock him out with ease. Big deal. Weak fight, weak division.

 

Boystov has a similar resume. His skills maybe similar but he only beat Gavern, Maddalone (shot), Hawkins(lost to Johnson too), Garcia (just KO'd by Areolla). Though his Bidenko win is very nice that is a title worthy win. Boystov is deserving your right but to go out of the way to criticize Johnson like some others when seeing what is what with the rest of the division the circumstances of the fight and closeness in resumes why not johnson.

 

Oh and another thing Haye was supposed to fight Johnson instead of Barrett UNTIL Haye saw tape of Johnson and he said no thanks. :roflatsch

 

When you have to start a thread to legitimize the contender status, you know he really deserve his shot....

 

Same thing happen with Rahman. He was past his prime bum, who can’t even be seriously considered as an opponent for Haye.

But suddenly when Waldo announced he will fight him, Rahman became dangerous top contender.

Now Johnson is most deserving without beating any top-contenders

 

That was when all Klitchko fans were saying, that Haye is ducking dangerous Barret, by fighting this unknown bum named Johnson. :rofl

 

Boytsov beat Pala who is better than anyone Johson has ever fought in the paid ranks.

You'd be better off putting by Haye that he's stuck in the WBA circus now, rather than he had his chance. BUT, I think Vitali does want that WBA strap to fulfill the brothers' dream completely. And Haye earned that strap at least, honestly. Boystov is under the same trainer as VK too, right?
