Its difficult, marquez rejected the rematch in 2004, after 2008 he could have fought marquez instead of diaz imo or instead of marg or mosley.
Im just happy we will finaly get some closure on this.

Yea finally. Pac has all the advantages on this fight, the Pacquiao with all the improvements should have no problem putting away Marquez....but what if he doesnt?

JMM clearly beat Pacquiao the second time imo but 135 lb+ Pac had less trouble making the weight. Marquez will give Pacquiao a pretty tough fight this time as well because I think he won a couple of rounds against Mayweather (2 or 3) and never got dominated badly at any stage. Marquez is also very good at dealing with south paws and seems to be actually bulking up a bit for this one properly instead of being a light weight who doesn't need to bother cutting he'll be more like a light welter.

I still fancy Pacquiao to only lose about three or four rounds and stop him about the 11th at the moment.

When PAC fought Marqez the second time, PAC clearly stated that win or lose he was moving up to 135.

Of course it should've. Had Marquez not ducked an immediate rematch their last fight would've been the third fight.

You're forgetting Marquez declined an immediate rematch. He went on to fight Chris John and lost, whilst Pac moved up to 130 and the said Morales trilogy. Took Marquez three years after their first fight to move up to 130 and the rematch happened within a year of that. The ducking is all in people's heads

Then this could've been their 5th fight. Pac ducked the third fight to move up 3 divisions and to fights no-one thought he had a chance to win. Marquez ducked the rematch to fight Chris John. But whatever, they're both duckers, November 12 is the ultimate battle of the duckers

it was barrera2, marquez2 and diaz. pacquiao should ahve fought marquez right away since marquez had just won over barrera but since barrera was more influential and was on the brink of retirement that time, he convinced GBP to let him fight pac first. that fight also resulted to TR and GBP peace and produced the great cross promotional match-ups like mosley-cotto.

after barrera2, there was really a plan to go up to 135 and fight david diaz for his 135 belt. but there were call from local boxing fans in the philippines (even here in ESB) for pac to fight one more time at 130 and get jmm's 130 belt and lineal title which he got from barrera. so after pac edged marquez on a SD, the previous plan of going up to 135 was done and the diaz figth was made.

here by the way is the picture of pac-barrera2 weigh-in and let's see the zombie barrera that you are talking. ;)
