to those disagreeing with olympic results

    I have been involved with the amateur boxing program of my country for years and have seen tons of amateur bouts. Joshua lost to Savon CLEARLY and should have lost against Cammarelle too(closer but still).

    this is true. i did see a lot of fighters ad******g theres constantly, not just after being hit, but also after throwing punches.

    i think moving to a round by round scoring system is great. does this mean they will still release the scores after each round to the fighters? could be a good place to trial the sort of impact that would have on the pro game. im all for it if it helps cut down corruption.

    That's because the topic was done a week ago or so. It got merged with the olympics sticky. There was even a poll attached.

    the problem is that most americans don't understand the scoring system. teddy atlas included. the other thing is that coaches in the u.s. train their boxers for more of a pro style than olympic style. the removal of headgear and the new scoring system will not change the outcome much in the '16 olympics. the former soviet bloc and cuba made adjustments...the u.s. has not.
