...unfortunately, I never knew much about him, aside from his fights with Manfredy and Dorin. He's fighting tonight, and his current record is 45-0-1. 45 wins and no losses is pretty impressive, even if you are fighting mostly bums. What did Spadafora do well? Is he one of those fighters that could have been great? How would he have matched up against the elite of the day?

if i remember right he was considered lightly tested vs Manfredy won a close won then not much longer went to jail

    since then hasnt done much

he is a what could of been but probably wouldnt have been if he did fight the elites

He was a slick fighter who fought out of the southpaw stance was at his best fighting at mid range using angles to make you miss and then counter with his own shots specially the straight left, had good speed and accuracy and was a decent bodypuncher also had a very good jab. His weaknesses i would say he was a bit flat footed, lack of punching power and had a tendency to fight at close quarters when he didnt have to,Chin was sturdy but could be hurt.

Never thought of him as being elite but had the style to give many fighters hell , good enough to be a titlist and make some defenses but not a pound for pound type of talent.

he had arguable the best jab in the game at his peak, crazy angles, decent but not blazing handspeed.

I think he had more tools an better skills that malignaggi but you could argue either was better

He got shot on his right leg and switched stance due to necessity.

    That's why he's a southpaw.

Talented guy, defensively oriented, moderate power.

His undefeated mark is no fluke. He really beat quite a few recognizable names as well.

Don't fooled though, Spaddy was nearing the end of his camp and Floyd was just starting his. :D

I'd argue that he'd of turned out half a step behind Paulie M.

The only bloke with a pulse that Spafadora fought was Angel. That showed his level.
