Damn maybe whos got more flash and dash..yes Cotto
but not when you get a beatdown like this.. How much more can a fighter prove hes a better man by putting a beatdown on his opponent. Geez

Vernon Forrest when he lost to Mayorga was still the better fighter. Doesn't mean Mayorga cant beat him.

Ok you want to get specific like that,er.. Forrest was damn intimidated in that fight..Mayorga was a bettr fighter against Forrest..There cannot be no argument

Now if you put it in the context of whos been more succesful in their career, their total body of work..I might lean on Vernon a bit more..but just with his recent performance against Mora, I'm inclined to say that Mayorga might have been the better fighter overall in terms of legacy

Vernon after the shoulder surgery has not been the same. And Mayorga has done nothing but fight big names and lose, or beat journeyman.

But like you said, Mayorga was the better fighter AGAINST Forrest.

    Read Chimbas post.

Mayorga was the better fighter against Forrest. Against him.
