To those saying Cotto is the better fighter...

Name some of Forrest's big wins besides Shane. Hell, name one.

 

The funny thing is Cotto is one of my favorite fighter..along with Pac and Pavlik...but geez had it been a close decision either way I would have still lay claim that Cotto was the better fighter. But Margo broke him down, yes he was plodding, lacked finesse and missed alot but he did it..we cant argue that..this is boxing, its a sport of absolutes mano o mano, no excuses

I don't understand the legacy part. They both were 147 and 154 champs, but damn can Mayorga take a beating. Tito and Oscar. Vernon may redeem himself if he wins back his title and Mayorga can look worse by taking another beat down by another of the past elite fighters in Mosley.

 

I just meant that to me Mayorga would have left more of an impression years from now. The guy is blood, guts and mouth. Hes no different than Hoya, fought the best and lost most of it.

I think Forrest is finished. For sure Mosley will knock him out..But I still cant wait to see it, the first few rounds I always have hope for Mayorga
