Guess what? Vitali was gone for almost 4 years out of the Heavyweight picture. In that time who was the only fighter to Unify? Wlad. Don King had 2 belts for a period of that time and made NO EFFORT to unify at all. None. Even when Vitali was champion King had 3 of the 4 and what did he do? No unification at all. None.

Don't blame the Klitschko's because Vitali came back after 4 years and destroyed Peter. Heavyweight unification was most likely not going to happen anyway and it is clear that Vitali wants the WBA belt also so be prepared for it.

    Excellent :good
Plus we really dont know what Vitali plans to do. While he hinted at the WBA belt, we dont know for sure. So again, the cry babies need to give it some time and we will see what happens. But to say the brothers are "holding the belts hostage" or "the brothers are holding up the HW division" are IDIOTS:yep :yep :nut :nut

i don't know at some point it seemed like Wlad might unify all the belts. Now that Vitali is back in the picture, its almost impossible until he's out of it again.

I hope Vitali does fight valuev first to get that belt out of his hands than go after gomez and Wlad taking care of povetkin and moving to haye would be great.

If that happens the division would be basically cleaned out by Wlad and Vitali.

which would be just as good because by that time i'm sure Vitali might hang it up anyhow and Wlad could take over.

2 champions are better than 4. especially if those 2 champions are the undisputed number 1 and 2 of the division.

Real boxing fans want Haye to blast both the Klitschko sisters out of there and then we can have a real champion.

yes 2 are better then 4 but Wlad already unified so we have only 3 right now. And now the best case senerio is that we have 2. The whole purpose of being the heavyweight champion is to be the best. Now we will NEVER no who is the best. All power to the Klits, but i do not think it is good for boxing. I get the feeling Wlad knows this and is not happy about it but loves his brother wants the best for him and knows he cant say anything about it.

It depends. If Vitali goes on to fight & hopefully beat Valuev then both brothers own the 4 major belts. Then Vitali can retire & let Wlad clean up.

Because they're brother and have openly stated their intentions(instead of ducking opponents like other fighters do) i've resigned to not see a 5 belt unified champion and in some ways I think it's for the best. Heck, most people can't tell them appart anyway.
