Probably about 9 / half 9. I'll watch the under card when I get home. Can't be ****ed drinking all day then have to sit in the arena with no booze.
Why not stay off the drink and enjoy the boxing sober? I'm heading down as soon as my mate who's driving finishes work so may not be in Manchester until about 5. I'm staying right next to the arena though so I should be there for 6 or 7 at the latest
I've never understood people who don't watch the undercard. Okay sometimes you sit through some **** fights, but sometimes you see a cracking fight or get a glimpse at a star in the making. Still each to their own.
he's got a bit of a point, everytime i drink and watch boxing i forget half the fight afterwards and end up getting really confused on the scores as well. i watched haye-valuev pissed up and had valuev down a clear winner, with the haye win a sauerland robbery job
stopping in the printworks for something to eat, then to the arena for the first bell dont like drinking at boxing events, may as well watch it at home if i'm going to do that
I've been to too many fights where drunken idiots have nearly ruined the event to want to get pissed before an event I'll maybe have one or two beers before or during the show, but that's it. For me if a shows any good it's not worth getting drunk
Was only joking. Been sober as a judge at every fight I've been to, mainly through necessity though, because I've been driving. As for watching the undercard, it really depends on the card.....I wouldn't want to sit through a Hennessy undercard again any time soon.
