I know Mayweather will win and those who disagree welcome. This is what makes boxing great, agreeing to diagree. I'm just trying to understand your logic of why Hatton will win.
First, this fight is at 147 which is clearly too much weight for Hatton. The last fight he had at 147 many believe he lost of Collazo and he was clearly stunned in that fight and beaten up pretty good. Hatton was the smaller man in that fight as he is in this fight. 147 is clearly too much weight for Hatton which is why he went back down to 140 and wouldn't give Collazo a rematch.

Collazo gave him trouble and he's not nearly as a hard of a puncher as Mayweather and he's not as slick either. Personally I found Hatton to be more effective with his aggression a few years back. I think he sort of fell off a little bit, possibly due to stepping up in competition. My botton line is, this fight is at 147 and Hatton had trouble at that weight. How do you figure he's going to get by Mayweather who fought as high as 154 and still maintained his form? IMO Hatton's aggression would probably have been more effective at 140, but 147 he doesn't have much of a chance.

I believe PBF will win it by points . . . but it's gonna be a very exciting close one. :D

Hatton's training for this fight as if it was at 140 - so while PBF might come in within the 147 range, Hatton will come in within his usual 140 range.

I think that pretty much blows your 'botton' line out of the water.

The betting says If these two met 3 times Hatton would win one of them, Mayweather two.

Hatton DOES NOT have to weight 147 or add the extra weight by going up to 147. Hatton can come in weighing 142ish (like he plans) and keep himself light.

So any excuse for this fight being at 147 is just redicously.

Hatton does not have to add the weight if he does not want to.

    Yes it does.

Hatton is planning to come into this fight *weigh in* at 142-143.

He does not have to "bulk up or add weight" to 147. Let alone weigh 147.

If he can fight at 140 normally then he just should train for it like 140.

Floyd is going to weigh 149-150. Hatton will probably weigh more then Floyd on fight night.

I would like to see Hatton win but i just can't see it happening for the same reasons as you have just stated.

I believe Hatton has a somewhat live shot.

    To you're points

147-short timing, weight issues=poor performance the 1st time. THIS time more time, strength/conditioning/nutrition coaching and 1000% focus.

Collazo is a SOUTHPAW! Different approach stylistically and it impacted the fight plan of Hatton. IMO, Bad example which has nothing to do with how this fight unfolds.

Not much chance at 47? Well we know TEAM MAYWEATHER AGREES that's why its the stipulated weight. Had it been to Hatton it'd be in the UK at 40, not Vegas at 47. They agreed because PBF isnt a big WW himself. PBF wants nothing to do with guys like Margarito, Cintron, and Williams:lol: Hell, they are already trying to figure out how to avoid Cotto next:rofl

This is about Floyd and Ricky and while the 47 title is on the line, this fight is really about 40, unfinished business. Hatton can come in at whatever he wants and may be under the limit.

Hatton will push Floyd with tenacity, volume, strength, determination combined with decent handspeed, a smothering inside style, and great body work. Mayweather will have to either fight out inside or use movement. It comes down to how well Hatton cuts the ring and negoitiates distance going forward. If Floyd uses the same style he used vs DLH with Hatton?:happy

Why would he use the same style against Hatton that he used against DLH.

    Completely different fighters.

Margo just lost and proved he sucks ass.

If Williams and Cintron wanted Floyd so bad, why didn't they wait for Floyd to get done with his fight instead of sign to fight each other?

Actually you didn't blow anything "out of the water". It would be foolish to train for a 140 fighter when you're fighting at 147. Do your realise how foolish your logic is? I was saying he had trouble at 147 against a lesser fighter how is he going to handle PBF at that weight?

Did you even read the thread? You totally avoided it because you had no response to the question. A fighter can be 140 and win a fight at 160 lbs thats not the issue. The issue is Hatton fought a lesser figher at 147 and had so much trouble that he discontinued his journey in that weight class. How is he going to handle what many consider p4p #1 at the same weight class?

I appreciate your opinion and for actually responding to the question. I'm rooting for Mayweather, I have no problem with Hatton on a personal level. Just as long as its a good fight.

Hatton said that the extra weight is what slowed him down and that he felt sluggish going down the stretch... he will be coming in lighter for this fight, also... im sure his preperation for mayweather will be leaps and bounds ahead of what it was for collazo...

also im not sure but id be willing to bet that collazo is physically bigger then mayweather though i could be wrong. seems like a big dude to me. and at the end of the day... hatton wins. it may not look pretty, may have some adversity and whatnot but he always pulls it off.
