I agree Arthur Abraham should be disqualified but IMO Dirrel faked he got hurt even if you don't watch the slomo replay, I've seen a lot of times how a person reacts when they get KTFO wether in delayed reaction or not. Dirrel schooled Abraham in most of the rounds alright but not until later rounds prior to the DQ where it was obvious how he got pressured by AA and I believe he was on the verge to really get KTFO. Dirrel took advantage on that frustration of Abraham rather than get starched for real. Dirrel did just a pretty well acting job I believe. I think he is more than embarassed than freak out afterwards for everyone to know he won by DQ.

yeah he faked it, but not because he knew he was going to get ko'ed but because it was the 11th round and to make it a shorter night of work.

Really stupid. I don't think any boxer would fake being KTFO.

Its just something you don't want your fans to see. Even in winning he has lost his aura of invincibility (not being KTFO b4). This is what he was really upset about, and the fact some one called him a coward.

It isn't beyond the realm of possibility for someone to fake something like this but Dirrell was dominating the fight. Why would someone who was winning handily fake getting knocked out...doesn't make much sense.:bart

Why would Dirrell fake being KO'd when he was winning the fight? No fighter would want a victory in that fashion.

look, I`ve been watching boxing for the vast majority of my life as most of us have. I`ve boxed for a few years and I`ve also been knocked unconscious. NEVER, in all my experience have I seen someone react that way to being KO`d. It just looked fake. He got hit with the punch went to cover his face, and you can clearly see his eyes appear focused then he falls down and goes unconscious. It just seems like bull****.

Now granted, he was winning the fight by a very comfortable margin, which makes this all the more perplexing. I do think he faked it but I also give him his due because he was whipping abraham in there.

    strange circumstances.

This is what I thought as well but I was still very impressed with Dirrell's performance. It's a shame the DQ happened because the fight was at a really interesting point, Abraham was starting to open up more in desperation.

It was a clear Dq for **** sake. People cannot defent the actions of AA last night. I was hoping that Arthur would have knocked Dirrell the **** out before the fight but not like the way he did. It really amazes me how far people will go in order to defend their favourite fighter no matter what, even when they are completely in the wrong.

I don't think it's as disgraceful as people seem to think...

    1. AA had landed harder punches in that fight than the final blow.

    2. Delayed reaction before going down (always invites suspicion)

    3. Abraham was catching up with him and had him down in the 10th

    4. Holding temple, punch landed on jaw.

    5. Dirrell is known as a runner, which invites these interpretations of events.

    6. Unusual behaviour once he got back up.

Before you go jumping down my throat, these are objective observations, I'm not sure what the hell happened myself :think:think In any case the DQ was probably justified.

I think to claim people who make the judgement that Dirrell was acting are disgraceful is taking the high horse, and a bit ignorant...
