To those who claim Dirrell faked being KTFO...........

Nothing wrong with thinking he faked it or not we're all different so we'll have different opinions. I'm not a doctor or have been ko'd so my opinion really doesn't mean much about this.

 

Look at Dirrell's left arm as he falls on the canvas
He moves his left arm to the front of his body as he is falling onto the canvas. Had he been knocked out this would not have been natural for him to adjust his arm for a more comfortable landing like that. Thats why I think he was not KO'd and putting it on.

I have made this point several times now and nobody cares to address it or explain it.

 

As i was going to sleep last night, I started thinking, what if he didn't fake it??

Then i started feeling bad...after all i started a thread last night asking whether he was faking or not.

But when i woke up i realized that's what these forums are for, to guage other people's responses to the same event, and to discuss. To say it is digraceful to believe one way or the other is actually pretty disgraceful in itself....

There's nothing wrong with saying you THINK Dirrell was acting. If the man is terminally damaged i will be the first to wish him well..

 

Dirrel was not KTFO but he was badly hurt and shook up by the punch, Abraham was only guilty of being over aggresive, it was still a DQ but i feel Abraham is more guilty of being such a big puncher.

Dirrell looked like he was maybe hurt but more so surprised from the punch but it looked like a clear over reaction to me. like he realized 1 sec after getting hit that he could end the fight right there.

so yeah, im from Saginaw but i dont like that ****. he shouldve had more incentive to finish the fight on his feet instead of playing the easy route which i believe he clearly did.

If you listen to the haters on ESB, Dirrell after getting hit did the following before falling over:

Motioned to Cole to call a DQ.

Twitter'd his bros that he was on Showtime.

Put his glove up to his face and smiled.

Said something to Cole, presumably it was "**** you guys, I'm out."

Grabbed a pillow from his brother so his landing would be "soft".

Scored a 20 on the wunderlich test.

the laying down and twitching looked like an act and he jumped right up and gave a shout out to the flintstones after they claimed the fight over.

anyway though, he wasnt that hurt to me like he played it and couldve continued. he just choose not to.

To those that say he faked it the doctor himself said it was true that he was hurt..try again..the man was out cold after taking a punch on the floor...no faking man...dont try and twist it all up

I love how AA is a murderous puncher except for this situation.

 

Here's a question. Why did Andre think it necessary to twitch his legs uncontrollably, not as if he was merely knocked out, but as if he may well be dead?

Was this not a bit gratuitous? Why add that little flourish? What was his rationale for the twitching? Surely it would have been sufficient to just lie there, no?

Why didn't Sonny Liston throw is some old-fashioned twitching when we was Ko'ed by Ali? Sonny thought it was good enough to lie there. Odd.
