you know after all the debate about Dirrell overacting, i still think he deserved the W for the most part because he couldve really been effected from that punch if he did continue.

Do you guys believe Dirrell's crying act? What fighter after being knocked out, starts crying "I got knocked out! I got knocked out!"? Have you ever seen a fighter cry and scream like a child after being KO'd? I'm just as dumbfounded and suspicious as Abraham is. Why couldn't they have continued? Five minutes would have been enough to recover from that punch. If he can cry, he can fight. I said the same thing about Montell Griffin. Until there's a rematch, I believe Abraham has only one loss on his record: to Edison Miranda. I scored last night's fight without doing any hometown cooking, and I had it 4 rounds each with 2 even. I gave Dirrell a 10-8 in the 7th and Abraham a 10-8 in the 10th, since they scored knockdowns. I scored round 4 for Abraham, disregarding the bogus knockdown.

how many times we've heard this famous comment in boxing?

the punches that u dont see hurt you the most!!!

    i just saw the replay

dirrel wasn't even looking . . . . . he absolutely did not saw the punch comming

and aa is a power puncher and landed a right hand ( his strongest punch) flush in the

jaw. punch yourse self hard on your chin with a boxing glove and you will get a

headache. IF HE FAKED THAT REACTION AND INDEED WASN'T HURT AT ALL. . .

THEN, HE SHOULD GET THE IRON CHIN AWARD AND HIS CHIN IS AMAZING!!!

If he can take a full-on power punch he wasn't expecting and didn't see coming on the tip of his totally unprotected jaw and still be in fit shape to "act" he must have the best ****ing chin the sport has ever seen.[/quote]

hahaha no doubt. gotta love these boxing conspiracy theorists. AA nuthuggin clowns.

I`m not an abraham supporter. I respect him, as I do most fighters. I was rooting for Dirrell and was happy with how the fight was going. I just think the ko was very unrealistic. It didnt appear real. with that said the DQ was warranted. abraham hit dirrell cleanly while he was down.

Dead people don't twitch.. because they are dead. They don't move at all.

Seriously, he got nailed while sitting down with a big hook to the chin. You don't think that punch would put a guy on ***** street?

Let AA do that to you, and I bet you'd be twitching on the floor as well.

You Dirrell nuthuggers either admit he was acting or admit he has a glass jaw. You can't have it both ways.

You miss my point. I find the suggestion that Andre twitched his legs to add lustre to the performance patently absurd. We agree.

You all think you see the same **** by watching super slow-mo replays. Watch it in real time.

I've read internet stories saying AA hit him 5 seconds after he was down.. which is BS.

I've read other stories saying that there was a full 2 seconds between AD being hit and him going down.

    Both are bull****.

Someone posted the round from youtube, watch it.. come back and tell me there was a 2 second pause.

If you do, you are a damned liar.

I can have both. It's not a glass jaw when someone hits you while you are sitting down and unprotected.

    It wasn't acting.

    Seriously, WTF??

We know AA packs a punch so he had a moment to plant one on AD. It is true that the ref said stop after/just when AA went to punch. But did he really not know he was down?

If you look the initial reaction of AD as like WTF you doing? Then immediatley he grimaced and felt the pain.

I can see how people might feel he faked it due to the emotions afterwards but do we really think within split seconds he could really come up with a acting masterpiece like that? If he had fake it on he spot he would have been Sussed out within a few minutes.

But on a side note he was beginning to get tierd and AA was getting through a bit more. AA should have had a KD but Dirrell also should have had a 2nd too.

To say AA would definitley have KO'ed AD is a bloody joke. AD took some good shots from AA and in boxing you can't say these things bcus we just don't know.

Also those idiots in AD's corne didn't help him compose himself any better and just kept shouting at him even though AD asked them to stop talking to him.

Anyway what's done is done let's see a wa betwen Froch and Kessler now
