You don't know much about boxing.....

BTW Margarito will be too big, take Cotto's power and win more convincingly than you can imagine.

Cintron has the physical tools to put Margarito in a Coma, what he does not have is an extensive amatuer boxing background. He started boxing very late
in life. I dont think he has the fighting skill to beat a Margarito and he never will. He was brought along carefully and is overrated. He can punch but he cant box or handle pressure. doesnt have a defense cant bob and weave and for a guy who looks so athletic he moves like a mummy.

The guy was a wrestler in High school yet is a terrible infighter and this was his down fall against Margarito. Margarito is a bit overrated also, his big advantage is his great size at welter, take that away and he is nothing the loss to Williams proves that. To sit here now after the fact and say those who said Cintron had a chance dont know boxing is inane.

Que? Margarito will be too big and strong for Cotto. Cintron couldnm't hurt him, how is Cotto going to hurt him badly enough? Remember, Cotto doesn't have a beard.

Cintron had an excellent chance against Margarito. He just completely wasted it.

Maintain distance and keep him occupied with the jab. If Cintron had kept distance between him and Margarito he would have had the advantage.

If the opponent insists on closing the distance then clinch him. It may not be pretty but its a lot better option then allowing yourself to get wailed on by a superior inside fighter.

Do not duck down so low your head its at his waist level. Especially stop doing that when the other fighter proves he's very adept at hitting his opponents when they do that.

Do not complain in the middle of the fight to the ref after getting hit on the back of the head. Seriously what's up with that? It's like holding a "I'm distracted. Please hit me" sign in the middle of a fight.

Cintron has the skills and physical ability to make a competitive fight against Margarito if he would just make the necessary adjustments to compensate for Margarito's style. But he didn't. He fought a very dumb fight. He basically fought using the same style he did in the first fight and shock of shocks came out with the same result. I knew he was in trouble when I saw Manny in his corner. ( who doesn't seem to train fighters to have an opponent-specific strategy when going into a fight )

How the hell is Margarito too big? Sure he's taller, but this guy is skinny as ****. It's not like he's the taller man but also huge and muscular.

I would assume you had another account considering you just joined this month and may not had a chance to witness this travesty.

It just looked like after the 1st round that Cintron did not want to be there.

I was in AC Sat. night for these fights & had terrific seats. Maybe 40 ft from the ring. And I was one of the few that gave Cintron a good chance to win, basically because of how impressive he's looked lately & how slow Margo looked against Williams. Margo was not to be denied that night. He overpowered Kermit. KC's only hope was to fight from a distance & AM would not allow that. Roughed him up bigtime.

Cotto was dominant against Gomez because of the power factor. Cotto had it & Gomez didn't.

I think a fight between MC & AM is gonna be something to behold. No prediction just yet. This one will take some time.

Sammy Sosa entered the arena just before 10pm & the latinos were going crazy.

We were going into Boardwalk Hall about 8:30pm & just as we're about to enter, I look up & theres Cintron & Manny Steward entering. Also saw B.J. Flores in the crowd near us & you should have seen the fashion model type bimbo he was with. About 6 ft tall & skinny as a rail.

Julie Letterman walked about 10 ft away from me & I almost hurled.

    Fun night in AC!:!:
