    YES!

When Hopkins and Calzaghe were negotiating, there were distraction talks of Calzaghe-Woods and the usual suspects (delusional Calzaghe fans) went on and on about how Hopkins sucked, didn't want the fight, and how Woods was a much tougher challenge, anyway.

These people suffer from a group delusion or a big-time drug addiction, and those suffering from the latter, don't even have the god damned courtesy to share!

That said, I always maintained that Woods was the same mediocre fighter who was bested by Jones, despite ridiculous claims to the contrary.

Hopkins is gonna **** Calzaghe up.

It was a fairly accurate prediciton pre-Woods/tarver. Woods was in form, beating Johnson and Gonzales and looking really good. Hopkins is also coming off a couple of good wins, too. I'm sure people said that Woods could be more of a threat beause he has a styles advantage against Calzaghe. Calzaghe and Woods are both pressure fighters, so it would be quite lose, I guess. Hopkins is a defensive fighter so if Calzaghe is better, it could be one sided. That's what makes Calzaghe/Hopkins such an interesting fight. They have two very contrasting styles and it could go either way - And be decisive both ways.

In hindsight it was well off, but nobody could have predicted such an abysmal performance from Woods. It's easy to laugh at those predictions now, but before Woods/Tarver, it wasn't impossible.

If you can't even see where people are coming from, you know **** all about Woods or Hopkins.

Man, I agree some people are delusional. Make no mistake B-Hop will be Joes toughest ever fight alongside Eubanks and Kessler.

I always maintained that Woods was ****.

I also maintain that Calzaghe is grossly overrated and that he is way out of his league fighting Hopkins.

Come Sunday, many here will reluctantly be forced to agree with me.

I love the way people assume because 1 brit loses to a dixie all Brits will lose to dixies, Woods defeat has no bearing on Joe at all.

Although what was particularly sweet about Saturday was the next big yank, the 'david haye crusher' fields losing to a british journeyman.

All of the delusional Brit fans. Well, most of them did. They are the same ones who think Pavlik, Winky, and Taylor are trash and Kessler and Calzaghe is God.

They live in another dream world.

    Exactly right!

And despite the fact the warning signs are on the wall, they still won't know what's going to hit them come Saturday when Hops outclasses Calzaghe.
