Nunn was his wbc lhw mandatory. Jones vacated his belt rather than fight him. Even his boss Seth Abraham (quoted above) said he did it to avoid Nunn

Theres a difference between taking a smaller percent and not getting paid at all

So according to you Benn should of fought no one, while waiting for a fight which might not happen instead.

I wish that DM and Jones could've come to an agreement. I mostly fault DM for that because at least Jones fought out of his country of comfort in his career shot or not, something DM never did. Collins would've been stomped, Nunn in the late 90's posed no serious threat to Jones, Benn and Eubank were faded, and Calzaghe was not a huge name at Jones' peak plus Jones moved up to lt hvy in '96 the year before JC beat an old, drained man in Eubank. Jones was too good for his own good but it's funny for some Jones' haters to fault him for not going to GERMANY to fight DM yet DM fought there his WHOLE career.

johnsons super-middleweight resume consists of defeats to kinawuka, sosa, ottke, branco, sheika, and vanderpool, with johnsons only half decent win at supermid v alan green. yet you think that this victory over johnson is now enough to push froch up to a similar p4p rating as ward? is this a fair interpretation of your opinion, if not why not?
