Holyfield had the heart, chin and mentality to trade with Tyson.

Wlad doesnt. Tyson most likely knocks Wlad clean out if he hits him with the first punch he hit Holyfield with.

This guy is plain ass dumb. Tyson was combination puncher in his prime. He didn't just go for broke with one shot.

Tyson vs Wlad= 10 second KO easy. Tyson at age 19 would beat Wladimir. I'd bet anything on it.

 

Bonecrusher's style is nowhere near as refined as Wlad's. And Wlad has more height and reach making it harder to get inside. Plus Wlad weighs more, and uses it to tire his opponent in the clinch.

Bonecrusher doesn't use his weight in the clinch, he often wastes energy pushing out, and Tyson is hitting him in there. The clinch would be refined by Lewis, perefected by Wlad. Now it needs to be banned, at least among heavies where there are frequently 15+ lb weight advantages.

Of course, no Wlad opponent, including Povetkin is near as fast as this Tyson. Haye's speed is somewhat comparable but lacks Tyson's chin so he's less willing to go inside.

This 87 Tyson might be able to get inside and knock out many versions of Wlad, including the one we saw Oct 5. In any Tyson/Wlad matchup, we have to assume the ref is neutral. And even if the ref allowed Wladtactics, then Tyson would get payback via low blows or elbows or butts or w/e.

Tyson is the underdog vrs. the Wlad that showed up vrs. Haye and vrs. Chambers. Too much range, weight smarts, and speed for Tyson to deal with. Still I'd give him at least 25% against any version of Wlad.

 

Where does the notion of Tyson having anything other than a terrible chin come from?

 

All of Tyson's KO loses came toward the end of fights where he had already taken a ton of punches and was completely exhausted. He has taken a plenty of super hard punches in the first half of fights, his chin doesn't let him down, his stamina does. Explain how Tyson has a terrible chin? How many times was he KD'd off of one punch in the first 6 rounds of a fight?

 

You Hugbot fans act as if smothering a guy in a boxing match is some great accomplishment. The argument for WK beating Tyson is he'd hold 'em all night, hardly something to brag about.
