To those who think Marcos Maidana beat Floyd in their first fight...

I had it a draw in the only time ive seen that fight and im not going to explain anything thats just the way it is.

 

I thought maidana landed more punches according to compubox at the time and also forced the action. Was enough to give him the ud

It was a close fight that I thought Mayweather clearly won.

People got excited because Maidana was definitely up mid fight, but Floyd won in a close one.

 

I don't think he beat him, but he ran him closer than anyone in a long time (including Cotto, Pacquiao and De la Hoya). You could just about make as strong a case for a draw as you could in JLC I. Nobody has truly deserved a victory over Mayweather, however, since arguably Lorenzo Aragón.

 

Mayweather won, although he had to work hard for the win. Mayweather took complete control during the 2nd half. His counter uppercuts were paying off big time. In the end, he was the BOSS.

 

Maidana won 4 rounds. FLoyd won the rest of them. Do the math. Floyd won, but it was nice seeing him roughed up.

 

Competitive fight and surprisingly so, but Mayweather did enough to win. People were desperate for him to lose so they concocted weird scores to make it happen. Same as Castillo I.

Pbf was 37 and faded when he fought maidana he wasn't prime. Also maidana fights nothing like jlc one is a pressure fighter the other is a slugger.
