For those who think Pac-ODLH is ridiculous because of Oscars size advantage and assume Pac doesnt stand a chance at all, therefore this fight is pointless. What will you think if Pac does indeed beat Oscar? Not getting into how he will, just what if he does?

I can see alot of people backtracking after the fight saying...Oscar was shot blah blah. However, surely if you think this is such an impossible task for Pacquiao, he should be rewarded amptly for achieving the perceived impossible task. In that case, where would you rank him ATG then and were do you rank him now?

Nobody will use common sense when it comes to this

People who are deemed "*******s" will most likely scream #1 P4P of all time..

PAC haters will say that De La Hoya will smash him and then if he loses, will say he was shot and that the real test for Pacquiao is Kelly Pavlik or Chad Dawson...

It's the same thing with everyone else. People who are overly favouring and undermining accomplishments.

It would be a very impressive achievement if Pacquiao beat the bigger De La Hoya.

Not quite sure how to put it in historical perspective though.

Boxers back in the days fought bigger/smaller opponents with more frequency.

I'm sticking to my stand that this is pointless and ridiculous fight. Despite Oscar being out of his prime I just don't see Pac beating him with the 4 inches height and six inches reach advantage in favor of Oscar.

Nomatter how this fight ends, we´ll see those excuses.

If Pac wins, Oscar was clearly shot and had nothing left.

If Oscar wins, it was beacuse he was the naturally bigger man.

F*ck this ****, if they sign to fight....may the best man win...and no excuses.

If we're gonna use that as an excuse as to not going overboard with rating Pac too highly in comparison to other fighters throughout the history of boxing, then why shouldnt we also use that excuse to push this fight through? Why is it seen as ridiculous and shouldn't happen?

Can we now say "This fight is ridiculous, ODLH has too much size advantage, its impossible for Pac to win, this fight is a farce!!!" yet at the same time be ready to say "OK Pac won, credit to him, but history shows us that it was pretty common in the past and nothing to go overboard about"?

OK your sticking to you stand but the question was more in regards to "will you stick by your stand even after Pac beats DLH?". Meaning, you thought it is impossible for Pac to win now, will you still think Pac did the impossible after the fight therefore ranking him ALOT higher or will you just turn around and say, "ok I was wrong but this is nothing to go overboard about".

What im basically getting at is, if you think this is impossible for him now to the extremem that you would call the fight a farce, will you credit him in equal amount for achieving the impossible?

Nothing is impossible in boxing, and ALL of you know this.

    The business works this way...

Pac wouldn´t get the cred he deserves if he beats ODLH at this stage of his career. (Even though it would be a great win in my book)

Neither would Oscar get the cred he deserves due to his "size advantage", even though he´s not exactly in his prime.

Those two seems to agree on that this has to be determined fair and square in the ring, so why shouldn´t we agree and enjoy the ride.

It may turn out to be an incredible fight, even though the circumstances may not be optional.

So many Factors. if DLH fights him at 147 and does same day weigh in. DLH will be drained... his stamina will be even worse.

This whole thing is a circus act . . . bud. It is a farce. :yep

So Pac beating DLH would only happen if DLH and Pac agrees that it should happen. WWE style! As in a 150 pounder PBF fighting the 300 pounder "Big Show. :deal

So I wouldn't give Pacquaio any credit even he beats DLH.

    Clear? :D
