He did look quite good, be interesting to see how he develops as he's in with a good crowd of welshies who are and have had success.

Yep. Better tats would have helped him overcome his tiredness and beat Fielding.

Seriously though, I think hes pretty good. I would pick him over Fielding if they were both fresh. Is he with Frank Warren? noticed Dean Powell in his corner last night

I thought he looked the best of the lot last night to be honest but it's always hard to tell as the pace of the fights are so fast.

He's still young and if a decent promoter picks him up and gives him a good chance I think he could do ok.

    Warren is his promoter

He is alright but i don't think he was as good as some proclaim on here i remember seeing his last fight at the Echo against an Ingle fighter who gave him fits. He couldnt assert the fight at all but fair play to the lad beat a former world champion on paper nice name to have on your record and got to the final

 Oh right didn't know that. Hopefully Warren promotes him well then. He seems like a decent kid and he's got some good people around him.

I'll be honest, my technical analysis of a fighter is shocking. So I keep it to myself. But................................... I don't think Webb stays in the pocket long enough.

He is almost moving before he's thrown the punch.

By time he's finished the shot he is missing cos he is out of range.

It's easily solved though for somebody so inexperienced. Also, he was in with bangers last night in the first two rounds and it's early days in his career so I can forgive him for it.

He has very little authority in his punches at SMW. He is every bit the slapper people regard Calzaghe as having been, but at Webb's age with his hands intact Calzaghe still threw proper punches. Even the few times we saw him turn over a decent hook and push through from his knees and turn at the waist, it had very little effect.

I have to wonder if he could make 160. It seems doubtful given his height and build, and the fact that he's primarily come in above 170 (and always above the SMW limit). Besides, at only 22 his minimum threshold is going to rise if he follows the usual standard and fleshes out.

I'd put money on him never scoring a single true one-shot knockout (ie down for the count) at 168 or higher.

Last night was good for him. So what he has a loss on his record, the experience and exposure he got was a lot better than his usual role at the bottom of a Warren card where few people are watching. The quality on show was pretty poor and I'd say he was just about the best in there, him vs fielding over 10 rounds would be good to see. I think he has a bit more variety in his work than Rocky but moving down to super-middle has certainly improved the punching power of Fielding so a rematch would be intriguing

Smith Dodson i think was the one it was the fight that he drew actually but looked poor and he obviously hasnt been given too many opportunities on Franks other cards as a result

One thing i noticed is particularly against Smyle he was pulling away whilst jabbing.

Basically like some others here have said he doesn't punch with much authority.

Still overall he looked good and he's young still.
